Ancient Roman Theatre

This is the only Roman Amphitheatre in Egypt and it is located in Alexandria. It is very close to the Villa of the Birds so you can see them both at the same time. The Amphitheatre is also near where public baths used to be thousands of years ago and you can still see bathtubs that were used. You can walk among many of the ruins so be certain to wear sturdy shoes. This was an interesting site in Alexandria and is included in most tours of the city. One ticket let's you see the baths, amphitheatre and Villa.

It is a small circular theater, and there are many other buildings in the site.
