700 species, 7,000 stocks of dahlia in full bloom!
Original Text
10 I have traveled to Tohoku for a day in the month of 17. During the plan, I learned that Akita has one of the leading Dahlia gardens in Japan called "Akita International Dahlia Garden". The middle of October when we stayed around Akita City was just the time when dahlias were in full bloom. The place was in a gentle hill just south of Akita Airport. In the park, about 700 species and 7,000 stocks of dahlia, raised by Mr. Washizawa, a representative dahlia breeder in Japan, are just in full bloom ...
After getting off the high-speed Akita Expressway, Akita Airport IC or Kyowa IC and going for a while as instructed by Navi, there was a Dahlia Garden on the mountain side. This was my first visit, but I learned on TV that it was a place where dahlia was being tested and it was a place I had longed to visit once. The entrance fee is 400 yen. Even so, this is the place where the director personally started. There was no weed in the large garden, it was well maintained, and the colorful dahlias were in full bloom. Especially the big wheel Dali ...
This time, I went to a restaurant on the hill when there was no dahlia. The view is wonderful. At the entrance, there is Maru 々 Fat Rabbit Chocolat-chan.
I don't think you can go without a car, but it's near the airport. Of course, the time is short, but the time of Dahlia is very beautiful and worth a visit.

We are satisfied with both quality and scenery.
It was the best time to see it, so I could see a wonderful dahlia. Each has its own personality and pays tribute to the producers.
