Mariam's Tomb

NH-2 located in a secluded place near Akbar Tomb. As there is little maintenance, ASI seems to forget this architecture. Please make sure to bring your own food and water as there are no shops nearby. Great for spending 1-2 hours in dark weather. Not a famous attraction as far as other surrounding monuments are concerned. But if you are in Agra and are interested in history, you should visit this attraction. The place is quiet.

Mariam’s Cemetery of Sicandela may not be as big or grand as the examples around it, but it prides itself on humility. It has a relaxed atmosphere because it attracts far fewer tourists than its neighbors, so it can change the pace and reflect quietly. It's pretty.

The Mariam tomb was built in the seventeenth century, and the place is very close to the tomb of Akbar, not more than a kilometer between the two places. The interior of the tomb is divided by a crisscrossed corridor, and Mariam's tomb is located in a cellar beneath the surface of the mausoleum, and the building is not well maintained.

The whole tomb is very large, very mysterious and powerful. Not many tourists. Old but very well protected so far.
