This was one of the most creative restaurants I&rsquo;ve been to in the past year or two.  Be prepared for lots of wonderful tastes sensations.  Each course is a special treat and is unique for that day.

What a wonderful experience.  The food was flavourful, beautifully presented, and explained in detail. Service was above and beyond what is expected.  A must do while in Amsterdam if you want a unique dining experience.

A must go every time I visit Amsterdam. It&rsquo;s superb. Food is made and served with love. Can&rsquo;t wait for the next time to have their pasta and limoncello spritz.

Excellent choice of Dutch beers on tap. A busy and popular bar . There&apos;s room downstairs too if the bar looks full. The rain and no umbrellas forced us to have five rounds - it was a great place to get "rained in" in. Staff were very helpful and by the end of our unplanned visit were speaking better English than us . Bald Eagle and Bland Eagle recommended ales but there is massive choice of beers. Cheeseboard was around 15 euros.

In the Netherlands, and especially in Amsterdam, it can get really bland and boring when every bar sells you Heineken, that is why a visit to Arendsnest was HIGH on my to do list.  Great traditional bar, which has a beer choice from across the Netherlands that can not be beat!  Staff will happily talk through the menu with you and find something for your taste.  Prices are not to bad for a city that I have felt has got VERY expensive over the years compared to previous visits.  Highly recommend this bar, but it does have a habit of being VERY busy.

Recommended to visit by our AirBnB host to sample some local beers. Lovely decor and vibe when we visited mid afternoon on a Friday. Massive selection of beers and local snacks. Could easily spend an afternoon in here working your way through the selections

Popped in for a quick drink into this very busy bar. No seating available in the main bar so we sat downstairs.  Excellent choice of beers. The Barman kindly allowed us to try before we buy. Chose a sour beer which was lovely.  Place was absolutely packed when we left
