About Adelaide

For the curious at heart, South Australia and its capital city of Adelaide invite travelers to explore Australia’s most iconic and cultural experience. Chockablock with trendy restaurants and cafes, Adelaide is food-savvy for hungry travelers -- and identified by the country’s most famous wine regions. Music lovers from around the world gather during the city’s festival season at its lush parks surrounding the river, while the booming Central Business District offers plenty of art, music, and café culture year-round. Adelaide is also the gateway to Kangaroo Island, arguably the best place to see wildlife in the wild Down Under, or allows for an easy drive up to the incredibly preserved, majestic Outback.

Adelaide was built by immigrants such as farmers. The city is small, the streets and alleys are laid out in a grid, neat and beautiful, and the buildings on both sides of the street and the steeple church exude a strong British atmosphere. The quiet Dorrens River traverses east and west, and the whole city is divided into the north and south districts. The north district is a quiet and beautiful residential area, while the south district is a lively commercial area. The green belt, surrounded by the edge of the suburbs and the northern part of the city, such as a green necklace, has decorated Adelaide into a cozy capital.

Walking into the Adelaide Botanical Garden, the roads are lined with plants of various shapes and colors, which are very symmetrical. There is a rose garden not far from the entrance, and the roses of various colors compete for peoples attention. Inside the park, there is a large-scale glass greenhouse "Tropical Rainforest Observation Park" in the southern hemisphere, commemorates the 200th anniversary of the founding of Australia. Walking in you feel as if you were in the Jurassic era. You will run into water sprays from time to time.
