Note that the discount on Avant trains is higher on weekends. Refunds or changes to your ticket depend on the type of ticket and may involve a fee.

Renfe Children Fare

Renfe grants a 40% discount on ticket prices for children aged 4 to 13. These children can select seats on AVE, AVE International, and Avant trains, and they can make changes or get refunds according to the ticket type, potentially incurring a fee. Children under four travel for free but do not receive a reserved seat. Please note that, on Cercanías trains, children under six can travel for free without a reserved seat.

Advance booking

You can enjoy discounts of up to 70% by booking in advance. Popular routes allow bookings up to nine months ahead, and for other routes, the sooner you book, the cheaper it will be. Trip.com has marked the lowest prices for you, easing your travel arrangements.

Renfe Young Persons Fare

Young people aged 14 to 25 can enjoy up to 30% off train fares with the Más Renfe Joven Card, which costs €50. This card, valid for a year and non-transferable, offers a 30% discount on AVE and AVE international trains. Additionally, get a 25% discount on Avant, Cercanías, and Rodalies trains.

Renfe Group Fare

Groups of 4 to 9 people travelling on AVE or AVE International trains will receive an 8% discount. Groups of 10 to 25 people can get up to a 50% discount on AVE, AVE International, Avant, and Cercanías trains. For groups larger than 25 people, you can submit a quote for approval. Please note that all Renfe group tickets are non-changeable.
