I went at the end of November. There were seagulls, which was nice, but the environment was just average. The boat ticket seemed a bit expensive, even though it wasn't a very long distance. The island had an incredible number of water mosquitoes, swarming everywhere.

Nianhua Town possesses an unexpected elegance. Rows of small buildings are arranged in a charming, staggered pattern, offering guesthouses, restaurants, fireworks displays, and light shows. Tourists stroll through the town with great interest, finding everything they need for food, lodging, and transportation. The aesthetics created by the architecture and Zen-like atmosphere add to the town's beauty.

It's said to be the most expensive scenic spot in Jiangsu. The area is vast, with lush green mountains and clear waters, a beautiful environment, clean roads, and constant Buddhist music. The Nine Dragons Bathing the Buddha performance is worth seeing. The Brahma Palace is luxurious and magnificent, and the Five-Seal Mandala and Manfeilong Pagoda are full of exotic charm. The Lingshan Grand Buddha is serene and peaceful, overlooking all living beings. Strolling through it, one can't help but feel a sense of peace and tranquility.

Huishan Ancient Town, teeming with crowds, is among the best of the ancient towns. Jichang Garden, Huishan Temple, and Xihui Park are all located within the town. The least impressive of the combined ticket options is Liyuan Garden, which offers virtually no autumn scenery. The most surprising and outstanding attraction is Rongshi Plum Garden, which is less crowded and boasts beautiful scenery and a refined atmosphere. At Yuantouzhu, most of the crowds are concentrated on the road leading to Fairy Island. In previous cherry blossom seasons, I, like most people, didn't explore other parts of the park. This time, just before sunset, I strolled southwest along the lake back to the Chongshan gate, and the sunset view was absolutely mesmerizing. Finally, I must complain about the management of Yuantouzhu. After crossing Wanlang Bridge, there's a section called Cangyingzhu that's closed off. This is a park within a park that requires a separate ticket, but it's unmanaged and closed to the public.

A garden of exquisite beauty, nestled halfway up Taihu Lake. The beauty of Liyuan Garden lies in its ingenious design, with bridges every three steps and scenic views every five; in the vibrant interplay of pavilions reflected in the clear waters and blossoms adorning the banks. Spring brings peach blossoms, summer offers the fragrance of lotus in the breeze, autumn showcases the sparse shadows of osmanthus, and winter reveals snow-covered eaves. Time seems to slow here, each scene unfolding like a traditional Chinese ink painting, revealing the unique gentleness and elegance of Jiangnan.

I went during the May Day holiday, and it was incredibly crowded, which greatly diminished my enjoyment of the trip. We didn't get to ride the mini-train or take the boats because of the long queues. The steps in the town are steep, so the elderly and children should be careful. The lakeside is lined with small bridges and covered walkways, a unique layout. There are also fireworks shows and concerts in the evening, which are worth a visit. However, I recommend going on a weekday.

Taking the cable car up the mountain is a perfect choice in summer, with a 40-degree angle at the ground and 28 degrees at the summit. As the cable car slowly ascends, you can slowly appreciate the scenery along the way, and the coffee at the top is also quite delicious. It's a great place for taking photos and is perfect for a family outing.

The Plum Garden at night is much more fun than the Plum Garden during the day. The performances are also good, and they are much better than expected. If there are activities and discounts on the tickets, it will be even more perfect. This one costs about 35 per person for 2 hours, which is a bit expensive.

Nanchang Street is a very long street. It seems to have been developed in at least three phases, stretching farther and farther away. Every city has this ancient street, with similar contents and similar goods. The main attraction is the scenery along the river. The CCTV Spring Festival Gala stage is carefully selected and meticulously crafted, and the scenery and lighting are magnificent. The main street is wide, while the side streets are narrow. There are many open-air cafes and teahouses along the river, which are mosquito-infested.

Wuxi Nanchan Temple is a national-level scenic spot, built in the Liang Dynasty (547). At the intersection of Jiefang East Road and Nanchansi Street, Liangxi District, Wuxi City, Jiangsu Province (on the banks of the ancient canal, north of Qingming Bridge). Metro Line 1 Nanchan Temple Station is directly accessible, about 5 minutes walk; Surrounded by Nanchang Street Historical and Cultural District, Wuxi Museum and other attractions, suitable for one-stop tour. The first year of the southern dynasty Liang Wudi Taiqing (547) was first built, formerly known as Huguo Temple, and later called Nanchan Temple because it is located at the south gate, which is the representative of "the most winning jungle in the south of the Yangtze River". The Northern Song Dynasty gave the name "Fusheng Zen Temple", Chongning three years (1104) Miaoguang Tower was named; Ming and Qing have been renovated many times, modern and comprehensive restoration many times, and are currently under renovation, now Wuxi Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit. Miaoguang Tower is a remnant of the Northern Song Dynasty, 43 meters high, seven floors and eight sides, Song Huizong gave the name, one of Wuxi landmarks. Daxiong Pavilion: for worship Sakyamuni, the beam structure is simple, with the style of the Buddha Temple in the south of the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Temple of Heavenly Kings, Wenshu Pavilion: Preserve Taoshan style partition paintings and other treasure-level cultural relics. Ancient canal landscape: night tour light show, cruise route (Nanchan Temple Pier to Qingming Bridge), red lanterns reflect the canal, known as "Jiangnan Water Alley". It is not open at night but will light up. In fact, it is an open scenic spot, gathering snack street, antique market, book city, etc., mainly "the unity of the temple city". There will be some activities during the festival, such as the New Year's Day prayer, the Buddha's birthday law meeting, etc. Opening hours: 07:00-16:45 (free admission) throughout the year. And Nanchang Street is a linkage attraction.
