The weather was great and we had a lot of fun all day. Zootopia: Heat Chase is definitely worth a visit. We queued for 6-7 rides, but it was so crowded that my feet and legs hurt!

The view from the tower is amazing and do go just before dusk so that you get to enjoy the beautiful sunset views and the night view of Shanghai City. The lower level where a portion is covered in glass walk around was amazing. Quite an experience, felt like walking on thin glass above Shanghai. The buffet dinner at the revolving restaurant turned out to be disappointing. While there seem to be a great variety of food, they were not really tasty. The crabs were not fresh. Definitely could be better and improved on.

Aside from being a bit out of the way, everything else was great. There was a wide variety of marine life and exciting shows, especially the orca show, which was particularly spectacular. The children had a blast and didn't want to leave.

We visited the aquarium with our children and family over the weekend, and we especially loved the sharks and penguins. I took several photos; they were incredibly lifelike. It was fantastic to see such beautiful scenery here; no wonder it's in the heart of Shanghai.

Since Shanghai Legoland is brand new so the crowd is much less than other attractions. It’s bit of a drive from the city centre so better to make it as a day trip so kids and adults can enjoy the attractions. If you’re visiting on your birthday you’ll have staff wish you at all attractions and you also get some free snacks.
