Bolton0527Manting Royal Garden is truly a treasure trove! Although I was a little disappointed to miss the Dai King's procession, the tropical plants and Dai architecture were breathtaking. The golden-roofed, white-walled Dai King's Palace is perfect for photos; every shot looks like a Southeast Asian masterpiece. The shade under the century-old Bodhi tree by the release lake was incredibly pleasant, and you could even see peacocks displaying their plumage strolling around. The biggest surprise was the Dai-style barbecue stall at the entrance—the lemongrass-grilled fish was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the pineapple rice was sweet, sticky, and fruity—even more authentic than the trendy restaurants. After a long day of exploring, we enjoyed Paoluda in the rattan pavilion; the coconut flavor mixed with crushed ice was incredibly refreshing. A 40 RMB ticket allows you to spend five or six hours there, making it a great deal when combined with the main Buddhist temple. Next time, I definitely want to catch the bonfire party!

丁丁爱元宝Wild Elephant Valley is a national 5A-level scenic area with a nice environment. You can watch elephant shows, feed the elephants for a fee, see the butterfly valley and orchids, and take a cable car up the mountain to look for wild elephants. Overall, it's a good experience.

Bolton0527Hiking in the Xishuangbanna primeval forest was absolutely amazing! Following a Jinuo guide through the rainforest, the ancient trees, some thousands of years old, were draped with cascading vines, and sunlight filtering through the leaves looked like sprinkled gold dust. Stream tracing and splashing in the water were incredibly fun; we even found tiny crabs under the rocks, and the guide could make birdsong out of a random leaf. The most thrilling part was the 30-meter banyan tree rappelling; swinging on the vines felt like Tarzan! At noon, we used banana leaves as bowls, enjoying grilled tilapia chilled in the stream water—it was so delicious it made our eyebrows fall off! Wild tree tomatoes were tangy and refreshing, helping to cut through the richness. We even tried some golden ants that burst with juice—so sour they made our eyes squint, but strangely addictive! Remember to wear non-slip water shoes and long sleeves and pants to protect against mosquitoes. After four hours of hiking, we were drenched in sweat, but incredibly refreshed—this was a true escape from the city. Even the lack of cell phone signal became an advantage; the lush greenery and the sounds of insects were more therapeutic than any spa treatment!

丁丁爱元宝The entrance fee to the Dai Ethnic Garden is not expensive, but the sightseeing bus fare inside is quite expensive at 60 yuan per person. Moreover, the staff said that if you want to see the water splashing, you can't sit on the sightseeing bus and have to walk. The management is rather chaotic and needs improvement.

serioisThanks to Guide No. 93, Xingxing, for my Jinuo Mountain rainforest hike, the experience was absolutely fantastic! His explanations were incredibly clear and fluent, covering even the smallest details of the rainforest, which I learned a lot from. The route was perfectly planned, making the hike very comfortable and effortless. The activities were fun and exciting, and I had a blast the whole time. The best part was the photography; Xingxing took amazing pictures, with perfect composition and angles, and he was also very humorous, ensuring we had a great time. He's definitely worth choosing!

爱兔兔的蛙蛙First, I must commend the view of Jinghong City from Mingjingtai; it's truly spectacular. Second, the Giant Buddha is particularly awe-inspiring and reassuring. The Zhuangkai Golden Pagoda and its reflection in the water are also fantastic. However, the ticket price is exorbitantly high. The entrance fee, sightseeing bus, and Mingjingtai (after a 10 RMB discount using points) totaled 138 RMB. Yet, this is built on the site of the former Jingpiao Buddhist Temple, a place steeped in centuries of history, but there's not even a decent introduction to it. Some of the Buddha halls (Longevity Hall) are just plain white walls inside—what can you say about that? 138 RMB for absolutely no historical significance! 😮💨

yao***keThe park is small and has a vintage feel. It's very clean, and the security guards are very friendly and patient in answering questions. I suggest adding a toilet seat to the restrooms for the elderly.

L乐游The scenery was beautiful, but since it's this season, most of the fruits were gone. Besides some papayas and jackfruits, there were very few others. However, it's still worth a visit for tourists from northern regions.

风雨大漠客1969Southeast Asian style is all the rage. The lighting and architecture have a strong Southeast Asian feel. Most tourists are from Northeast China, but there are people from all over the country. A beautiful young woman took some amazing photos during her travels. Rows and rows of delicious food were laid out.
