卖汽油的可乐小可I went in early November, and there were very few people, but the scenery was truly breathtaking. The direct bus from Dongzhimen Transportation Hub to the Beijing Tourist Distribution Center is easy to find and runs smoothly to and from Jinshanling.

Anonymous userThe artificial water town is clean and tidy, but lacks cultural depth. It looks nice at first glance, but becomes uninteresting after a while. The ticket price is expensive, and the prices of food and restaurants inside are also not cheap. If it doesn't change its business strategy and continues to exploit tourists, it will be despised by tourists, and the number of tourists visiting the Simatai Great Wall will also be affected and reduced, as it will be taken away by the neighboring Jinshanling Great Wall.

蝈蝈16888Well, the Great Wall is a must-see; you're not a true hero until you've climbed it. Mutianyu wasn't as crowded as I expected, but the journey and the long queues made the overall experience less enjoyable. Be prepared for that.
4.7/5Anonymous userNice place for beginners to learn how to ski although there is no snow. The service is great and everything is guided and covered end to end. There are many slopes for different levels and coach to guide beginners how to ski. Will be nice to come back in February when it is snowing.

M48***15Wanlong is also renowned in northern China. Its abundant number of slopes, impressive lengths and elevation differences, and impressive snow quality have made it a synonym for professional skiing. The resort is large, the cable cars are fast, and the crowds are quite high. It's suitable for beginners and above, with a wide selection of restaurants and comprehensive facilities. The only drawback is the high prices.

panlipmqThe staff at Dingling were incredibly kind and sincere – thank you! The temperature inside the underground palace was fine, but it's always good to dress warmly if you're visiting in winter. Don't read too many of those mysterious and strange posts; our Han Chinese emperors and empresses will protect every one of us, the descendants of the Chinese nation!
4.7/5Anonymous userCultural sites leave us with historical imprints, and the gilded tiles of the Little Potala Palace are awe-inspiring, highlighting the weakness of a nation that can't even protect its own treasures! The tourism regulations regarding fire prevention at the Little Potala Palace are played on repeat, and the background music during the tour is a bit unbearable. I don't understand it, but I respect it!

熊猫小胖90This was my first time visiting the Mountain Resort during the off-season, so it wasn't crowded. The entrance fee was 90 yuan per person, but most of the money probably went to the museum. Winter comes early here, so the Mountain Resort's scenery is slightly less impressive than in other seasons. To get here, you have to pass through the museum first to reach the gardens. The scenic area has three routes, but the mountain path is inaccessible in winter, so you can only see the garden views. The park is very large; it would be quite nice with snow. Summer and autumn must be very beautiful. The entrance fee isn't cheap!
4.8/5Anonymous userJuyongguan Great Wall isn't as famous as Badaling, and there's no cable car there. We arrived at 1 PM and started with the eastern route, which was quite easy; we only encountered about ten tourists along the way. The western route is steeper. It was cold in Beijing that day, and the wind reached level 7, so we turned back after reaching watchtower number 9. There are still watchtowers 10-14 to come. The whole route takes about 3 hours. In good weather, climbing the entire loop shouldn't be a problem. That day, there were dozens of foreigners on the western route. Apparently, due to the strong winds, the Badaling cable car was closed, and tour groups were bringing people to Juyongguan; otherwise, there would have been even fewer tourists. In short, it wasn't crowded, and the experience was good. Those who enjoy hiking the Great Wall on their own can try Juyongguan, although the scenery isn't as beautiful as Badaling.
