M27***03I went to the panda base on a whim without doing any research. I joined the queue and saw Hua Hua. Although the wait was over an hour, the two-minute immersive close-up view of Hua Hua and Ye was totally worth it. While you might not get to see the other pandas' faces clearly, watching them forage, climb trees, and lie down was also very entertaining. It's a place worth visiting multiple times. I recommend bringing your lunch and spending the whole day there!

🦄 罗The Sanxingdui culture is unique, not belonging to the Central Plains culture of China; it stands alone, yet also incorporates elements of other cultures. The new museum is large, but the exhibits are somewhat homogeneous because the number of unearthed artifacts is still relatively small. We look forward to seeing more in the future.

Anonymous userFor those who haven't been, I recommend checking it out. It has a wide variety of animals and offers a rich experience. I was most impressed by the seals and monkeys. Unfortunately, it was around midday when I went, and the animals were taking their afternoon nap, so I didn't see many. Overall, it's a great trip and definitely worth the money.

Admission is free and the area is open 24 hours a day, though it's recommended to plan a three- to four-hour visit. The district's architectural style is inspired by traditional western Sichuan courtyards, with blue tiles, white walls, and carved eaves. This creates a unique "courtyard-style commercial street" feel, earning it the nickname "Chengdu's Double Embroidery"—the sound of Buddhist chants echoes within the red walls, while the bustling market life unfolds beyond. Wenshufang's core identity can be summarized as "Zen culture combined with traditional Chengdu folk customs." Within the district, there's a temple every 100 steps and a pagoda every 1,000 steps. In addition to Wenshuyuan Temple (built in the Sui Dynasty and inscribed by Emperor Kangxi), the district also preserves the remains of the "Nine Palaces and Eighteen Temples," including the Five Mountains Palace, Lengjia Nunnery, and Aido Hall. This area boasts the most concentrated religious and cultural heritage in Chengdu's old city. Building on this foundation, the neighborhood has incorporated elements such as the "Empty Forest Zen Road" market for Zen-inspired goods, the "Manjusri Blessed Land" cluster of protected courtyards, the "Folk Old Street" offering intangible cultural heritage crafts, the "Chengdu Salon" teahouse featuring antiques, calligraphy, and paintings, as well as the "Old Chengdu Food Court" and "Tianzi Food Hall." This all-in-one experience combines incense worship, Hanfu travel photography, gaiwan tea, Sichuan Opera face-changing, and century-old snacks (such as dragon wontons, Zhong dumplings, and Lai glutinous rice balls). The atmosphere is enhanced by the lighting of lanterns at night. Wenshufang is a free historical district offering the most concentrated and convenient experience of old Chengdu: burning incense, enjoying vegetarian food, drinking tea, watching opera, strolling the ancient streets, enjoying snacks, shopping for cultural products, and photographing Hanfu costumes. For a quick experience of slow living and the essence of Zen, simply add this area to your half-day itinerary.

M54***66We went with one adult and one child. I was a college student and it cost 68 yuan, while my mother cost 260 yuan. Overall, it was a bit expensive and we didn't think it was worth the price. The jellyfish exhibit, which we were most looking forward to, was not open when we went, which was a huge disappointment.

南北的路你要走一走First of all, the area inside is very large, there are many facilities to play, and it is interesting. The playing time is also very long. The surfing atmosphere is good and very lively, with singing and dancing. The staff are also serious and enthusiastic. It is worth coming again. The only difference is that the food inside is the same and so-so.

咸鱼度假A well curated science museum. The exhibits are interactive and attractive to children. Information presented is accurate. We went on a Saturday and it was packed with many young families. Recommended for teens and younger. We spent about 2 hours here. Interestingly, they have an exhibit on what to do in a disaster - remembering that Sichuan is in an earthquake zone. we were told that schools do conduct earthquake drills regularly. The space exhibit on the ground floor commemorates 20 years of China’s space journey and it has the original Chang E five return space pod on display. A must for all space buffs!

The rows of materials show the stories and expectations of different people, forming a different landscape, full of life atmosphere, people can not help but feel the wonderful blend of tradition and modernity. Tired of shopping, go to Heming Tea House to order a cup of tea, 16 yuan can enjoy an afternoon leisure time, cost-effective. Sitting on the quaint bamboo chair, basking in the sun, watching tea ripple in the bowl, and listening to the people around the authentic Sichuan dialect, the time has slowed down, the body and mind are extremely relaxed. And next to the tea house, there is Chengdu authentic food Zhong Shuiyu, sweet, salty and spicy intertwined unique taste, people have endless aftertaste, and there are cute panda-shaped refreshments, taking pictures and punching in is super fun. There are also memorials to the death of Xinhai Qiubao Road, Xinhai Revolution Baolu Sports Square, etc. in the park.
