戴草帽的农民工Changde Wildlife Park is quite suitable for family trips. You can get up close and personal with the animals, watch animal shows, and kids will have a great time feeding them. There's also a playground with attractions that are suitable for children. It's definitely worth a visit if you have the time!

M25***70Just in time for the 3rd World Dongting International Reed Art Festival 2025, a cultural tourism event, the festival will showcase the grandeur of Dongting Lake and the elegance of reeds, with "symbiotic life" as its core and natural ecology as its foundation, creating a magnificent winter cultural tourism scene in Yueyang and adding color to the otherwise unremarkable Junshan Island.

🐘Sera🐘This is a great place for friends, couples, or families to relax and enjoy a trip. It's right next to the Dongting Lake Museum, so I recommend staying for two days and one night. They even have NPC guides to accompany you, which is fantastic! 👍

皮卡丘duduThe China Giant Panda Garden is quite far from the city center; a taxi ride from Yueyang Tower takes 30-40 minutes. Choose the Giant Panda Garden Visitor Center as your destination; the fare should be around 40 yuan. After getting off the taxi, walk towards the shuttle bus stop. The driver will tell you where the return shuttle bus stop is. The park is large; you can easily walk around in about three hours, including watching the pandas eat and sleep. When I went today, it happened to be lunchtime for the panda cubs, so I was able to film many of them eating. After watching the pandas, it's a long walk to catch the shuttle bus. The panda garden is also some distance from bus stops, so it's best to take a taxi or drive yourself.

小太阳009I was pleasantly surprised and amazed by the wisdom of the ancients and the splendor of Chu culture. I rented a guide and spent the entire day exploring the museum. The explanations were very detailed and clear, and it's definitely worth a visit. 👍🏻 One downside is that there are only a dozen or so parking spaces at the museum, and by the time I arrived after 9:00, there were already no spots left. There's also very little parking nearby. Second, you have to pay for the tour guide, and the guide guide itself. 😱 This is the first museum I've visited where the tours are paid. I've been to at least six or seven museums in China, including the Provincial Museum. The other tours are free, and the Yichang Museum's app also offers free tours. Only the Jingzhou Museum doesn't offer anything free, and it doesn't even have a brochure. 🙄 Third, the facilities are very basic. I heard it was built in the 1950s and 1960s and later renovated, so the facilities are quite basic. There's even no elevator at the entrance. Fourth, there's no restaurant at the museum, and there's not much to eat nearby. I was hungry from morning to lunch. 😭 Also, I hope the museum has a bookstore. The Yichang Museum next door has books. The facilities and service should really emulate the Yichang Museum.

186***78This time, we took advantage of the fall break to bring the kids to play. There weren't many people, which saved us from long queues. The kids were very happy and tried everything we didn't get to do last time. It was a great experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to play with their children!

Anonymous userI feel that the amusement facilities are still a little less, the park is not big enough, and it took me a while to finish the tour. It took me a while to watch the performances inside. The movie "Three Gorges Eternal Love" was good, and the other performances were a bit monotonous. It was nice to take pictures. Overall it was very good.

gpc_mybabyThe Chu King's Chariot and Horse Array is the largest and best-preserved high-ranking noble mausoleum of the Chu Kingdom in China, and is hailed as "the Terracotta Army in the north, the Chu King's Chariot and Horse Array in the south." The two exhibition halls within the scenic area are not far apart; a short walk along the wooden boardwalk between the two mausoleums takes only about ten minutes. The Chu King's Chariot and Horse Array scenic area is well worth a visit, especially for tourists interested in history, culture, and archaeological exploration. As the largest and best-preserved high-ranking noble mausoleum of the Chu Kingdom in China, its historical value rivals that of the Terracotta Army of Qin Shi Huang.

M53***96At noon, I enjoyed Hunan specialties at the restaurant in the park. The food was authentic and affordable, and the rest area was clean and comfortable. The overall pace of the tour was comfortable and not tiring, making it a perfect place for a family outing. I've already put this place on my "must visit again" list and will definitely bring my parents to experience this joyful experience next time!
