"The place is rustic and I must say it really live up to its name, a sanctuary to get away from the hustle and bustle of life! I loved the idea that it is so surreal….. the only downside is, there is quite a few places that needs a bit of maintenance and upkeep. Apart from that, if you like a slower pace getaway, this is the place!"

"The hotel was one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The COLLECTION Club Lounge served a good variety of food, but my kids could not go inside, so we had to sit outside, which had a good view of Singapore’s skyline. Only weekend the kids will be able to join us in the lounge. The room was very big as the room that we booked was the Urban Suite. It was very big and also very clean. Dyson in the room was useful. The pool was relatively big. However, when we went for the afternoon tea at Portman’s Bar, the waitress gave us a menu and told us to order from it, so we did and she said that it was chargeable, but it did not affect much of the greatness of this stay. We preferred breakfast at the lounge over peppermint. We preferred afternoon tea and cocktail at the lounge over Portman’s bar. My kids also enjoyed the kid Playroom, which they went every single day. This was a memorable experience for me and my family!"
Highlights: Newly renovated hotel that offers direct access to the Marina Square Shopping Mall, and is within walking distance of popular tourist attractions such as the Esplanade—Theatres on the Bay, Gardens by the Bay, and the Singapore Flyer.

"The hotel location is very good, near to Chinatown area. It is very convenient. Many restaurants around the hotel. Coffeeshops and even hawker center within walking distance. Hotel service consider not bad. Check in take about 10min as i think they are doing last min check on our room. The hotel lobby furniture look grand. Very suitable for taking photos. The room is very clean. Because of promotion, everything in the mini-bar is free. They still provide a bottle of red wine. My wife really enjoy the bathtub while drinking the red wine. There is lots of movie to see while resting on the bed. The bed is king size bed, very comfortable. The pillow is good, not like other hotel soft soft type kind. Aircon temperature can be adjust in room. Overall this is a good and nice hotel. Price is very reasonable."
Highlights: The Scarlet Hotel Singapore is a deluxe hotel within walking distance of the Tanjong Pagar MRT Station and convenient to several sights including the Sri Mariamman Temple and Raffles Place.

"Hotel location is good and room is clean. There is a 15% discount for hotel guests if they dine at Ginetts, however service staff at Ginetts is bad. Parking in hotel is not complimentary when it is stated that parking is provided. Had to pay $15.50 for ‘complimentary’ parking. Before Hotel G was renovated and renamed, parking was complimentary!"
