The hotel has beautiful swimming pool, comfortable and clean bedrooms. If you are lucky, you could get a room with terrific view of the malacca straits.

What travelers say:"The Raffles Singapore is a one of a kind experience with no comparison. We stayed for 8 days/7 nights, it felt very much like a home. The buildings are beautifully and tastfully decorated. The rooms are beautiful with a mix of modern and colonial style. Even the standard room is a suite with a separated parlour which has its own controls for lights and ac. The staff are excellent and always ready to help. We had issues arise and talked to management and they listened and corrected the issues in a timely manner. We had a tasting experience meal at the grand lobby on the first night, dinner and at Le Dame Du Pic and drinks at the Writers Bar. The selection of bars and eateries have you covered for any taste you want, we didn't manage to try all the hotel has to offer as Singapore has such a great food scene in the hawker centres. It's location is excellent nestled between key tourist areas in Singapore and easy access to the metro at the City Hall station"Book - No.4

They allow us on early check-in around 11am which is a plus points. Our Lobby/Elevator is on A. Room 1043 with a nice view of Sultan Mosque.
We didn’t avail the breakfast buffet (10sgd)
The pool is located at the 4th floor (you can refill water and tube ice here)
The hotel is 200m walking distance from Lavender MRT exit B station
There’s a Kopitiam (small hawker near the exit B station)
Also, Mc Donalds, and nearby Fair Price grocery
Downside is their air condition; since it is centralized, you can’t control it.
Better if they can adjust it cooler since SG has a hot weather."Book - No.7

Can really feel that the management's focus is in enhancing guests' experience as the staff were very well trained and rewards loyalty. I was granted a late check out without needing to request for it! There were even welcome fruits and red wine.
Our only issue was the noise from the nearby pubs that probably continued on till 12 midnight. We already closed the balcony door but guess the music is simply too loud. And we could never get chromecast as the queue is very long?

The bed was comfy and it was nice to lay on to after a tiring day. However, during our short stay, the shower head on the tub was broken so I used their QR scanning to request for assistance. It took a long time and I had to call the front desk twice. It also took a long time before it got fixed which delayed us to doing our itinerary for the day. After that, the maintenance guys told us to wait for the cleaners to remove the water all over the bathroom from the repair 9The maintenance guys were nice, polite, and very courteous). None came to clean but I didn't bother to call anymore since we were only staying there for 12 hours. The receptionist (Singaporean) that had us checked-in was very nice, kind, and helpful. However, the receptionist (I think an Indian) that handled the check out lacked proper manners as she was frowning and not very accommodating when we asked for the way to the departure of Terminal 1 since the other was closed that time. What travelers say:"Went here to celebrate our mom’s bday, the first room we booked was really really small with no view, so requested for an upgrade and had to top up $71+ just for a view, but size are the same. After entering the room we found out that the tv is not working. They had to call the technician to take a look at it. After the technician checked, he told us he need to exchange the tv from another room. He came back with the tool box and took out the drill.
Seeing that, I decided to go back to the front desk to feedback. So they allowed us to upgrade again to room with balcony this time without charge.
Knowing that reading so many reviews, some of them get free upgrades to even bigger room without even requesting. I wonder why? Can’t help it but to feel it is because of our religion?
But whatever it is, my mom and kids really did enjoyed themselves. Most importantly my mom feels appreciated and special on her birthday. That’s all that matters."Book - No.19
