What travelers say:"The hotel was only 10 mins walk to Shinsaibashi and located in a convenient location.
The hotel room was very clean, and in a perfect size for either a couple or a solo traveller.
However, there are night clubs and bars near the hotel, it could be a little noisy in evening time."
What travelers say:"Firstly nice hotel with magnificent view !! This is before all the problems begins !!
First I book a deluxe double room and they told me they don’t have a deluxe double room !!! Then they claim deluxe double room means king bed ! Then why call it double room ??????
Secondly, almost got scammed at the breakfast. I was given 4 voucher for 4 nights and I asked the counter if I can use 2 voucher concurrently as I am with my wife. They replied ok. on that day, I presented two voucher to Cooka manager (I came with me and my wife) and they still issued me a invoice to pay for additional guest !!
One voucher is for 1 guest and if I give 2 voucher, it is for 2 guest !! And they tried to charge me extra !!!!!
Seriously, this is a scam !!!!!!
After quarrelling for some time, the manager and another lady told me I have to pay for Tmr breakfast!!!!
I was shocked !!! If I eat Tmr, then I pay for the break fast !!!! If I don’t eat, they expect me to pay for what ??
Outrageous Scam !!!
Please see the picture attached !!!
Cant believe I almost got scammed !!!"
What travelers say:"Clean, spacious hotel. Breakfast is average considering the pricing. The location of the hotel is good which is just right next to Shinsaibashi Station. However, the exit from the train station does not have a lift or elevator. U need to lug your suitcase up and down 3 flights of staircase which was really hard for me. I will not consider staying in this hotel again for this reason."
What travelers say:"Rooms were spacious and clean with a beautiful view. Made good use of the public bath where staff were friendly and attentive. View from the room on 27th floor was spectacular.
Some might find location off but I loved the location. I was close to Osaka and Umeda station yet the hotel was situation in a newer and quiet quarter yet still near the bustling station. Very close the the Grand Front shopping arcade where the all time favourite Tokyo Hands can be found. Plenty of restaurants but have google translate ready!"
What travelers say:"I am really enjoyed during my one night stay in this hotel and the after service is really amazing and get really amazed by their service.
I have left something in the hotel and they handled the lost good in a extraordinary way with sending message and updating with me once they have sent the item back to me."
What travelers say:"Front desk receptionists are very polite. Some may find it hard to converse in english but the important thing is that they always find a way to help and assist.
The room was perfect the way you see it in pictures. The location was really the best part as it is literally just beside Osaka Central Station, which is the main hub of all JR/underground lines in Osaka.
Definitely recommended. The only tiny concern is the key, which is classical in away bit may be hard to use at first."
What travelers say:"Awesome stay for us. Spent 3 nights as a family with 2 kids. As other reviewers mentioned, free flow ice cream n beer/alcohol 3pm to 11pm. Free instant noodles 10.30pm to 11pm. Also a free drink machine at Lobby accessible 24 hours, with coffee, tea and hot /cold water.
One other thing I really appreciated was the stroller we could borrow for free. It was a sturdy Joie stroller that folds with 1 hand, really convenient when u need to go up the stairs at train stations or in busy restaurants.
Rooms were small but expected of Japanese hotels. We had a triple room for 4 of us and while it wasn't roomy it was do-able.
Location was awesome. Will stay again."
What travelers say:"It is actually great as it is convenient with a local store just next to it, the place so close to the famous bridge and i always love dormy inn for its hot spring. However, i found this particular dormy inn not at the cleanness standards of all the dormy inns. The towels, the bed sheet, the clothes for hotspring."
What travelers say:"Was a great stay at the twin room on level 31, we managed to upgrade with a fee last minute. View was great and the hotel is conveniently located.
Service from the front desk was excellent and really attentive. Loved that the hotel was able to let us upgrade our room last minute and the Front Desk personnel Geoffrey even help us to visualise how far our room was from the elevator as my friend could not walk far.
Staff spoke English and understood me when I called for room service.
However the facilities like the public bath and so on were closed and the use of sauna required a fee (not complimentary for all hotel guests)."
What travelers say:"Very good location 5 minutes away from universal studios and restaurants..its very good location specially if u have a child you can go back to hotel when ur child need to rest from playing in usj then can go back to usj later afternoon..so easy train also is near when u want to travel in city..just the parking not free we pay ¥3500 per day but overall valery good👌staff all good specially the lady who clean on 19flr during the day she always great smile to us ..we didn’t try hot spring and restaurant upstairs but its look great for experience next time we gonna try"
What travelers say:"Clean room and nice food! The hotel has its own taxi service and the driver is super nice!"
