Times Square is a New York landmark. The triangular zone is flanked by high rise buildings and clustered with shops, with a plethora of department stores, restaurants, and Broadway theaters in the vicinity. Ablaze with lights both day and night, Time Square is overwhelmed by iridescent neon billboards and LED screens, each broadcasting adverts and promotion films from around the world. Throngs of people speaking different languages pack the streets and engrossing street shows can be seen everywhere. The Square is particularly boisterous during festivals, parades, and firework shows.New York · 65.5km from Woodbury

5th Avenue

5th Avenue is a major north-south thoroughfare in Manhattan, starting from Washington Square Park in the south and extending north to Harlem, and is often considered the dividing line between the East and West sides of Manhattan. The entire street connects the laid-back atmosphere of Greenwich Village, the high-rise commercial buildings of Midtown, and the museum clusters of the Upper East Side. Strolling along it is like flipping through a condensed portrait of New York City. For most tourists, the highlights are concentrated in the Midtown section: the Empire State Building, the New York Public Library - Stephen A. Schwarzman Building, Rockefeller Center, and the Gothic-style St. Patrick's Cathedral are lined up along the street; the 49th–60th Street area gathers long-established department stores and brand flagship stores such as Tiffany & Co. and Bergdorf Goodman, and the window displays and the buildings along the street themselves are worth taking your time to admire. Continuing north, the stretch along the east side of Central Park from 82nd–105th Street is known as "Museum Mile," where The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, and others are arranged along the way. This street is also the classic route for the traditional St. Patrick's Day parade in New York, and the holiday window displays are a street tradition that has continued for many years.New York · 63.9km from Woodbury

Harvard University

Harvard University is one of the world's most famous institutions of higher learning and a tourist destination rich in history and culture. The campus centers around Harvard Yard, where red-brick walkways, ivy-covered walls, and classical buildings constructed over the centuries intertwine. The Johnston Gate on the west side of Harvard Yard is considered the main entrance, and a short walk into the yard brings you to the John Harvard Statue. This statue is known as the "Statue of Three Lies" because the inscription on its base contains three inaccuracies. Many tourists touch the statue's left foot for photos, a habit that has polished the bronze foot to a shine. Across the lawn from the statue stands The Harry Elkins Widener Memorial Library, a grand building donated by the mother of an alumnus who perished on the Titanic. Memorial Church is the only building in the yard with a spire, and its walls are inscribed with the names of Harvard students who died in World War I. Memorial Hall is famous for its ornate stained-glass windows, and its freshman dining hall is often compared to the Hogwarts dining hall in "Harry Potter". Massachusetts Hall, built in the early 18th century, is one of the oldest surviving buildings on campus. Harvard Square is one of the bustling neighborhoods in Cambridge, packed with bookstores, cafes, and various shops. The area around the campus also features the Harvard Art Museums, which house a collection of European and American art ranging from classical to modern works, including self-portraits by Van Gogh and paintings by Monet.United States · Cambridge

The Brooklyn Bridge is a well-known bridge connecting Manhattan and Brooklyn, with pedestrian and cycling lanes on the bridge. Walking on the bridge, boats pass under the bridge, and Manhattan is full of high-rise buildings. Beneath the Brooklyn Bridge is a beautiful park. The merry-go-round at the bottom of the bridge may help you regain your childlike innocence. The nearby DUMBO Art District can bring you the inspiration and creativity of American artists. In Manhattan, you can head to Chinatown or Little Italy for delicious food, or walk down the street near busy Wall Street and touch the copper bull that brings fortune. The bridge is also a frequent scene in American movies and TV series, such as "Broken Sisters", "Gossip Girl", "Gangs of New York" and other dramas.New York · 71.1km from Woodbury

Wall St

4.5/5
807 reviews
Wall St is the core street of the Financial District in Lower New York, extending east from the intersection with Broadway to the East River. The street is not wide, flanked by towering buildings that leave only a sliver of sky visible when looking up, giving it the feel of a skyscraper canyon. The street's name comes from the wall built by the Dutch in the 17th century. Today, this small street has become almost synonymous with the United States financial industry. After some financial institutions moved to Midtown, many old bank buildings were converted into apartments, but the area still retains the unique atmosphere of a financial district. A good way to start your tour is from the Broadway end: in the cemetery of the Gothic-spired Trinity Church at the intersection lies Hamilton, the figure on the 10-dollar bill; the building at No. 1 on the other side of the intersection was originally the headquarters of the Bank of New York and has now been converted entirely into residences; walking east to No. 11, you will find the New York Stock Exchange, where most people take photos in front of the colonnade and sculpted pediment; a bronze statue of Washington stands on the steps of the Federal Hall National Memorial at No. 26; the old stone building at No. 23, which is only a few stories high, was once the headquarters of J.P. Morgan & Co. and stands in stark contrast to the surrounding high-rises; and the Art Deco building at No. 40 once belonged to the Bank of Manhattan. A few minutes' walk south along Broadway brings you to Bowling Green Park, where taking a photo with the Charging Bull is the final stop for many visiting the Financial District.New York · 70.9km from Woodbury

Broadway

Broadway is an important north-south road in New York City and is well known to tourists because of its many opera houses. The more lively and crowded place on Broadway is the intersection with Times Square. Every day, the theater here will show classic operas such as "The Phantom of the Opera", "The Lion King", "The Bad Witch" and so on. The streets of New York are all horizontal and vertical except for the lower city. Only Broadway is crooked from the riverside pier in the southeast of lower Manhattan, through the bustling downtown and quiet residences, through skyscrapers and tree-lined streets, and directly to the northwest. The vast land of New York State. If you want to take a good stroll around this avenue, you can take Times Square as the center. The southern end of the avenue is Battery Park, which has the famous Fort Clinton. From here, you enter Broadway Avenue. At the intersection of Broadway Avenue, there is a Wall Street copper bull representing New York's financial industry. After passing the copper bull, you will pass the Federal Building, New York City Hall and Chinatown. To the north of Times Square is Columbus Circle, where you enter Central Park, and you can reach the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts through the Upper West Side, where the wealthy gather.New York · 65.3km from Woodbury

The Freedom Trail is a historic sightseeing line in Boston. The road surface is paved with red bricks, winding all the way, extending in three kilometers of streets. In 1951, the citizens of Boston preserved this unique street of red brick. The right way to open up American history is to set foot on the road to freedom. The Freedom Trail begins at the Visitor Center in Boston Common and ends at the towering Penga Hill Monument across the Charles River, with 16 attractions and many 17th and 18th century houses, churches and Independence War sites along the way. It takes about half a day to walk the entire freedom road, but if you want to visit carefully, it may take at least a day.United States · Boston

Quincy Market

6.7
4.2/5
203 reviews
Quincy Market is located in downtown Boston, right next to Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and is also a stop on the Freedom Trail. In the 1820s, Boston's expansion overwhelmed the old market at Faneuil Hall Marketplace. Then-mayor Josiah Quincy oversaw the construction of this new market, which was named after him upon its completion in the 1820s. The market consists of three long buildings. The central two-story granite building features porticos at both ends supported by stone columns with triangular pediments, and a dome in the middle. Designed by architect Alexander Parris, it is a classic example of Greek Revival style. The North and South Markets on either side were originally built by merchants and now mostly house clothing, jewelry, and gift shops. Inside the central building is a food hall running from east to west, lined with stalls offering New England specialties like lobster rolls and clam chowder, as well as international snacks. It is a popular choice for tourists to take a break and grab a bite after walking the Freedom Trail. The plaza in front of the market is often filled with street performers, creating a lively atmosphere. The stone columns and pediments of the east portico, as well as the domed hall in the center of the building, are great spots for photos.United States · Boston

After finishing a long and stressful project, I booked this hotel specifically to treat myself to two days off. Staying here not only allowed my exhausted body to fully rest, but also revitalized my spirit, which had been drained by the project. The hotel's spa experience completely exceeded my expectations, the room's audio-visual equipment was professional enough, and they even thoughtfully provided DVDs of my favorite genre. After a bath, I curled up on the sofa and watched an old movie, forgetting all about work; I felt completely healed, inside and out. The hotel doesn't rely on overpriced hype to create a high-end feel; every experience is solid and thoughtful, making it a top choice for a relaxing stay. Its exceptional quality and extraordinary elegance, designed specifically for healing, are hidden in every detail.

Hudson Yards is definitely a popular attraction in New York, but its iconic building is about to be demolished, reportedly for safety reasons. Even without the iconic building, it is still very beautiful.

It can be said to be the most representative shopping street in New York. It is also very popular with tourists. It is a shopping district that must be visited when traveling in New York. Before the 19th century, Fifth Avenue was still an empty farmland. After expansion and construction, various residences and high-end shopping malls were built again. It gradually became today's skyscrapers. It becomes more and more lively as the night goes on. It is the busiest street in New York at night. There are also various classic buildings on Fifth Avenue. The Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and New York Public Library are all along the way.

Most universities abroad don't have walls, and Harvard is no exception. The first picture shows the visitor center, where you can use the restrooms. The campus is divided into several sections by city streets, but overall it remains quiet and orderly.

The terminal of the Freedom Trail This granite monument in Charlestown, Boston, is said to be one of the earliest monuments in the United States, used to commemorate the Battle of Bunker Hill between the British Army and the North American Colonial Militia (OK, I admit that I checked it recently ) Now this is the terminal of Boston's Freedom Trail. If the weather is good, you can walk all the way from Boston Park~ The only way to get to the top of the monument is to climb the stairs There are a total of 294 steps, and numbers are marked every few steps, so that people who are panting and climbing the stairs can have a number in mind There is actually only a small space on the top of the monument, but looking out through the small windows on all four sides, I immediately feel that climbing the stairs is worth it~
