Whiteman Park
Whiteman Park is located in the northeastern suburbs of Perth, about 10+ km from the city center. It is a large park that combines nature conservation, family-friendly recreation, and nostalgic railway experiences, covering nearly 4,000 hectares, with the vast majority covered by native bushland. The park is located in one of the world's few biodiversity hotspots, with over 400 recorded native plant species and more than 100 bird species. Wild grey kangaroos, emus, and other animals live in the forest, and if you look up, you might even spot wedge-tailed eagles nesting in the park. It also features a dedicated conservation area that protects rare species such as the critically endangered woylie, making it a great place for birdwatching and connecting with nature near Perth. Animal lovers can focus on Caversham Wildlife Park within the park, which houses over 2,000 animals of about 200 native Australian species, where you can hand-feed kangaroos, see koalas up close, and spot wombats. Whiteman Park in Perth is a large botanical garden with a very wide lawn. It is a good place for Perth people to make friends on a daily basis. The scattered trees on the lawn are like huge parasols, which are particularly beautiful and unique. It has a lonely and romantic beauty and is a good place for taking pictures.

You need to take a boat to and from the island. You can buy a separate ticket to go out to sea to see sea lions. We went late and missed the last boat to see sea lions that day. There are several penguin shows on the island every day, and the scenery is also good. You can come with children.

We arrived at around five in the afternoon. The beach was white and fine, but there was no one there. I was delighted to think that we had the kilometers-long high-quality beach all to ourselves. From afar, I saw two people surfing in the vast Indian Ocean, showing their bravery in the wind and waves. Great!
