Magdalena Island
Magdalena Penguin Island is one of the unmissable beauties in Chile. If you like small animals and penguins, you must not miss this place. Every October, more than 60,000 pairs of Magellanic penguins come to the island to mate and reproduce. Therefore, from November to the end of February every year, there are multiple weekly boats from PuntaArenas to the island. You can report a trip to the island. The itineraries arranged by different companies are similar, generally starting from the port of PuntaArenas, a 2-hour boat ride one way, 1 hour on the island, a total of 5 hours round-trip. Departures are at 5pm (or 6am) on most days, and at 6am on a few days. The timing needs to be based on the penguin foraging time. After arriving on the island, you can watch and take photos up close. Torres del Paine National Park
Torres del Paine National Park is located in southern Chile and was once selected by National Geographic as one of the "50 must-see places in a lifetime". The scenery is picturesque, deeply moving, and the food is delicious.
Mirador Cerro de la Cruz (Cross Hill Observation Deck) is located high above Punta Arenas. The scenery is picturesque and the whole city is in full view, which is very touching. Sitting in a restaurant on the hill and enjoying lunch, you can enjoy this coastal city, which is even more enjoyable.

A round trip hike from 5 to 6 days. Beautiful scenery, complex route with 3 river crossings, 1 of which was at least waist deep water and very icy. Passing through rocks and muddy mobs. But it was totally worth it. The views from Cape Froward to the entire channel were beautiful. The bus left at 7:30 from Ignacio Carrera with Chiloé.

Must visit. Did a day trip from El Calafate to Torres del Paine. Felt like we stepped into a painting with a filter. I didn't realise such colours could exist naturally. Would visit again but complete a trek.
