Cathedral of Brasília

Cathedral of Brasília was designed by master architect Oscar Niemeyer and is almost the opposite of what people typically imagine when they think of churches in Europe. It lacks towering spires and heavy walls. The main structure is entirely underground, with only the crown-like dome, the egg-shaped baptistery roof, and a bell tower visible above ground. The 16 curved concrete columns converge upward to support the glass dome, resembling both a pair of hands reaching toward the sky and, from a distance, a crown. Completed in 1970, the cathedral has witnessed the city's journey from being built on the plateau according to blueprints to being designated as a World Heritage Site.Brazil · Brasilia

The Blue Church is a Catholic church with a blue body, which is eye-catching. The name of the church comes from the name of a priest at the end of the nineteenth century. The Italian-born priest Dom Bosco had a dream in 1883 that a city shaped like a bird would be built in the central plateau of Brazil, which would become the center of Brazil. The place is Brasilia, the capital of Brazil, where the church is located.Brazil · Brasilia

Near the square are the Brasilia History Museum, the Temple and other buildings. The Parliament House is located next to the short bus terminal in the square. In the middle is a 28-storey building. On the right side of the square is the House of Lords with an inverted bowl-shaped roof, while the House of Commons is on the left, with a roof like a dinner plate. The two buildings complement each other. Works by Oscar Nière Mayer. The Grand Presidential Palace is located behind the Congress Hall. This palace composed of glass curtain walls is called the "Palace on the Plateau"; in front is the statue of labor soldiers, which is used to commemorate those who have worked hard for the construction of Brazil. There is a fountain in the front square, and next to the fountain is a statue of a lady without an eye expression. He was dubbed the "blind judge," a metaphor for unfair judgments and a warning to law enforcement officers to uphold justice.Brazil · Brasilia

This white three-arch bridge hovers tightly on the water in the beautiful scenery of Paranoa Lake. The three arches that make up the main body of the bridge are not on the same horizontal line.Brazil · Brasilia

The Presidential Palace is a rectangular four-story building, solemn and lively. There is a huge cement-cast slope from the second floor to the ground. In front of the two-story presidential palace, there is a bronze statue of "Capital Builders" with two spears standing side by side. It is not only built to honor and commemorate the thousands of workers who worked hard to build Brasilia, but also to symbolize the unity of Brazil.Brazil · Brasilia

The Capitol is mainly composed of the "Congress Palace" and 6 Senate and House of Representatives office buildings. The upper and lower houses are connected by a "bridge", and the whole building forms an "H" shape. This shape implies "people-oriented" and "humans dominate the world", and the two sculptures downstairs represent sunrise and sunset respectively.Brazil · Brasilia

A very peculiar church. The cathedral has a very magical exterior design, which looks like a huge crown. It is also a landmark building in Bavaria and a good place worth visiting. [Scenery] The scenery is also beautiful

The Blue Church of Brasilia is a church with a rather unique interior design. The walls surrounding the church are all made of blue glass. Under the sunlight during the day, the church is all blue, which is quite unique.
