The Kühler-Müller Museum is an art lover's paradise. The museum houses nearly 90 oil paintings and nearly 200 drawings by Van Gogh. There are as many as 40 pieces of Van Gogh's treasures in the exhibition hall, including "Cafe in the Night", "Aer's Suspension Bridge", "The Sower in the Sunset", "The Harvest", "The Potato Eater" and "Self-Portrait", etc. Several classic works. In addition to Van Gogh's paintings, the museum also houses masterpieces by Monet, Picasso, Mondrian, Gauguin, Renoir and other artists, among which the more classic is the "Composition of Red, Yellow and Blue" by the Dutch painter Mondrian. Another highlight of the museum is its outdoor sculpture garden. This is one of the largest sculpture gardens in Europe, covering an area of 25 hectares. Here you can see works by well-known sculptors such as Rodin, Donald Judd, Alberto Giacometti and many others. As many as 160 sculptures are scattered in every corner, each of which has ornamental value. For example, Rodin's sculpture "Squatting Woman", the woman's unnatural posture and facial expressions express intense pain, fear and despair. The museum is located in the beautiful Holland Hoveluwer National Park. Here you can appreciate the different natural features such as heathland, grassland, dunes, lakes, swamps and forests, and fully experience the natural treasures that nature has given to the Netherlands.Otterlo · 3km from downtown

Van Gogh Museum

The Van Gogh Museum is located on Museumplein in Amsterdam and is a national art museum centered on Van Gogh's works, holding more than 200 of his oil paintings, hundreds of drawings, and a large number of letters exchanged between him and his brother Theo, a collection that ranks among the foremost of its kind worldwide. The origin of this collection is itself a story: after Van Gogh's death in 1890, the paintings were kept by his brother Theo; Theo passed away shortly afterward, and his widow, Johanna van Gogh-Bonger, devoted her life to organizing and exhibiting these works, which had received little attention during Van Gogh's lifetime, ultimately bringing them together into this museum. The permanent exhibition lays out a clear viewing route in chronological order of creation: from the dark-toned "The Potato Eaters" of the Nuenen period in the Netherlands, to the numerous self-portraits of the Paris period, then to "The Yellow House," "The Bedroom," and "Sunflowers" of the Arles period, and finally to "Almond Blossom" and "Wheatfield with Crows" created in the last stage of his life in Saint-Rémy and Auvers-sur-Oise, making Van Gogh's creative trajectory over a brief ten years clear at a glance. In addition to his own works, the museum also displays paintings and sculptures by contemporary artists such as Monet, Gauguin, and Rodin, many of which were personally collected by Van Gogh and Theo at the time; in Gauguin's "The Painter of Sunflowers," the protagonist is none other than Van Gogh, the painter of sunflowers. The building itself is also worth a closer look: the main building was designed by the Dutch De Stijl architect Rietveld and opened in 1973, with exhibition galleries unfolding layer by layer around an open atrium; the oval wing designed by the Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa was completed in 1999 and is dedicated to large-scale temporary exhibitions; and the all-glass entrance building opened in 2015 connects the old and new wings into one. The museum is consistently popular, with dense crowds during peak hours, so if you plan to take a close look at the permanent collection, it is recommended to allow ample visiting time.Amsterdam · 67.2km from Otterlo

I highly recommend visiting the Kröller-Müller Museum, which boasts the second-largest collection of Van Gogh paintings in the world, second only to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam. It's less crowded, allowing you to quietly immerse yourself in Van Gogh's works.

Gorgeous Park! You can easily arrive by car or by public transport. Grab a free bike at the entrance and ride around freely for the entire day. The landscape is beautiful, the museum in the middle of the park is one of my favourites, and the restaurants is surprisingly delicious.

Overall, the place is interesting; it's my first experience with this kind of zoning. I was especially impressed by the butterfly zone—it was amazing! The oceanarium wasn't impressive. There are large tanks, but they only have a few fish. There's a tunnel, but the view is a bit cloudy, and there are mostly a few stingrays. There aren't many animals, and their areas seem comfortable, quite large. This is definitely a plus for the animals, but it's quite difficult for a person, and especially a child, to find and see them. For example, we didn't see any rhinos at all; the tiger was sitting in the bushes, and the lions were sleeping somewhere in the far corner, blending in with the sand.

One of the greatest museums of Dutch history. You feel like you travel through time. The museum is quite large, so allow yourself enough time to see it (at least 3-4 hours).

A must-visit place when you come to the Netherlands, this is the museum with the most works by Van Gogh. Of course, the exhibits in the Rijksmuseum also show that the Netherlands is a very wealthy country.

[Scenery] Great for taking photos [Fun] We wandered around the old town, and finally we left the old town and passed by the San Huber Hunting Lodge when we returned to our car. The afternoon sun provided perfect light for viewing the San Huber Hunting Lodge.
