Ostrava Zoo

Vanek Hill Ltd.
This small ski resort Vanek Hill Ltd., 400 meters above sea level, is located in the picturesque surroundings of the Nízký Jeseník Mountains, in the village of Horní Lhota, in the local hut area of Zátiší. With gentle slopes, high cost-effectiveness and a fairy-tale-like settlement of wooden houses, it has become a hidden paradise for family skiing in Central Europe. In winter, there are multiple cable cars for all categories of skiers every day, including 3 for smaller skiers in the Children's Park. The ski resort is equipped with artificial snowmaking system and lighting for night skiing. There is also its own ski school, ski rental and service, including a children's ski park with ski slopes and a cable car in the park. Children can be divided into groups according to skills and age. Decent shopping spot with a good mix of stores. Free parking helps, and it's easy to find your way around. Pretty solid for a quick errand run.
