"Three Lanes and Seven Alleys" is located in the heart of Fuzhou, collectively referring to ten historic lanes and alleys lining both sides of Nanhou Street from north to south. The "three lanes" are: Shuixie Stage, Wenru Lane, and Guanglu Lane. The "seven alleys" are: Yangqiao Alley, Langguan Alley, Anmin Alley, Huang Alley, Ta Alley, Gong Alley, and Jibi Alley. "Who would have thought the recluse of Five Willows and Lone Pine would dwell amidst Three Lanes and Seven Alleys?" This entire ancient residential quarter, first built during the Ming Dynasty, has been remarkably preserved through centuries of history spanning both Ming and Qing dynasties. The neighborhood houses former residences of numerous historical figures and even features a folk culture museum. As the saying goes, to understand a city, you don't need to traverse every street—just stroll down one historic lane at a leisurely pace. Walking through Three Lanes And Seven Alleys brings you closer to the heart of Fuzhou.Fuzhou · 18.1km from Minhou

Located on Hubin Road, West Lake Park has a history of more than a thousand years and is a well preserved classical garden in Fuzhou. Lying right next to the river, it is where the elderly go for exercising in the morning. The eight scenic spots in the garden are awe-inspiring for the literati in the past, and many good articles were created because of them. Scenic spots mainly concentrate in Kaihua Island: Provincial Museum, Art Exhibition Hall, West Lake Theater in the north, children's park in the west, and zoo to the southwest.Fuzhou · 17km from Minhou

It was first built during the Dazhong Xiangfu era of the Song Dynasty and underwent two renovations during the Chenghua and Wanli eras of the Ming Dynasty, growing to a considerable scale and becoming one of the holy sites of Buddhism in Fuzhou. It features a 100 mu natural life-release pond built along the mountain's contours, which is well-arranged, elegant, and tranquil. Yantai Mountain is a mountain located in Cangshan District, Fuzhou City, Fujian Province. It is 41.6 meters above sea level. It overlooks Wuhu Mountain in the south and Sanshan Mountain in the north. It has the scenery of "Cangshan Mountain with mist and clouds, high hills and low rivers". The crisscrossing mountain streets and alleys are the unique geographical features here. Yantai Mountain has continued its prosperity for nearly a hundred years. It concentrates the essence of urban history. It is the Fuzhou version of "International Architecture Museum" and the solidified modern history of China. The beauty of Yantai Mountain is just as described by Mr. Ye Shengtao: "Almost every garden, road, flower, house and coachman here are poetic. What is particularly lovely is that when the evening sun is faint, a bell rings in the chapel, and several girls with flowery paper umbrellas walk under the green shade." Yantai Mountain presents history and fashion, classic and modern in a three-dimensional way in front of us. It is a new landmark that integrates modern and ancient, and is the forefront of the collision of Eastern and Western cultures. Here, modernity and fashion are deeply imprinted on the bricks and tiles and streets, creating the immortal background of Yantai Mountain.Fuzhou · 21.5km from Minhou

When visiting Fuzhou, a leisurely stroll through the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys is a must. Walking on the cool cobblestone streets, looking up at the staggered saddle-shaped walls, white walls and gray tiles, you'll see the quintessential old Fuzhou. No need to rush to see the must-see spots; just wander into any alley, and you'll find ancient houses and courtyards brimming with stories. The streets are bustling with the aroma of everyday life—meat dumplings, fish balls, and peanut soup fill the air—a truly blissful experience as you stroll and savor the delicious treats.

5-star review! The Fujian Provincial Museum is definitely worth setting aside half a day for. Located by West Lake, the architecture is grand, the collection is rich, and it offers an immersive experience of Fujian's thousand-year history. The exhibits related to the Maritime Silk Road are particularly impressive. Free admission makes for a fantastic experience. A must-visit in Fuzhou to experience Fujian's cultural heritage! After Fuzhou, head straight to the Pingtan North Line! For dining, the top choice is Beibu Gulf Seafood Restaurant (小白楼). The owner is very honest, the seafood is caught and cooked fresh daily, prices are clearly marked, and the seafood retains its natural flavor—it's incredibly fresh and sweet. The owner's wife is also very welcoming and will share tips on chasing bioluminescent plankton. For accommodation, I recommend the nearby Shuangchuang Julu Youth Hostel! The rooms are clean and tidy, the common areas have a great atmosphere with a reading room and relaxation area, and the courtyard is perfect for taking photos. The owner will provide Pingtan sightseeing routes, and you can meet travelers from all over the world. It's very close to the Beibu Gulf coastline, making it super convenient for exploring the North Line. A top choice for backpackers and young people, this combination of cultural experiences, sea views, and delicious food is perfect!

This trip to Fuzhou to explore the "Fudao" trail was truly a rejuvenating experience! The design of this forest trail, built along a mountain ridge, is absolutely brilliant. Walking on the openwork steel frame feels like strolling through a green sea of urban forest. Breathing in the abundant negative ions, and enjoying breathtaking views of Zuohai Park and the Minjiang River along the way, it's incredibly therapeutic, whether for a morning run or an evening stroll. It's definitely a must-visit landmark in Fuzhou! After exploring Fudao, my biggest surprise was finding the only "Seafood Xiaobailou" restaurant in Pingtan! I thought it would be hard to find such authentic Pingtan flavors, but this place served freshly caught and cooked seafood—sweet, bouncy, and incredibly generous portions. The prices were clearly marked, so there was no overcharging. Every bite tasted like the sea, and I was completely satisfied. It's definitely a must-visit culinary gem when visiting Fudao! There's only one seafood restaurant on Pingtan Island, so please be careful to avoid being scammed. After a satisfying meal, I checked into the nearby "Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster," and the experience was fantastic! The environment was clean and tidy, the rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the common areas were stylishly designed. In the evenings, I could chat and drink tea with friends from all over the country – the atmosphere was wonderful. As a transit point for exploring the city, it's also very convenient. With its oxygen-rich hiking trails, Pingtan seafood, and comfortable accommodations all in one place, this trip to Fuzhou was truly worthwhile, and I highly recommend it!

The Lin Zexu Memorial Hall is solemn and dignified, with detailed historical materials that allow visitors to deeply feel the patriotism and love of this national hero. The rich cultural atmosphere makes it well worth a visit. Seafood at Xiaobailou offers fresh, live seafood prepared to order, with authentic and delicious flavors. Prices are clearly marked, and the owner is warm and honest, making for an excellent dining experience. Shuangchuang Youth Hostel is clean and tidy, with a cozy environment, comfortable beds, and a thoughtful owner who shares practical travel tips. It offers excellent value for money. Overall, the trip was fulfilling and enjoyable; highly recommended!

This trip to Fujian was incredibly rewarding. First, I visited the Shangxiahang Historical and Cultural District, with its ancient brick houses, flowing water, and vibrant old Fuzhou atmosphere. Strolling along the ancient streets allowed me to experience the history of Fujian merchants, and the night view was particularly atmospheric – definitely worth exploring in detail. Afterwards, I went to Beibu Gulf in Pingtan to see the sea, and both the food and accommodation were surprisingly pleasantly surprising. For dining, I recommend Xiaobailou Seafood Restaurant, the only seafood restaurant in Beibu Gulf, run by three veterans – a reliable and trustworthy business. The seafood was fresh, authentic, and retains its original flavor. The owner was warm and attentive, not pushy with orders, and even offered helpful travel tips, making my seafood meal worry-free and enjoyable. After dinner, I checked into the Beibu Gulf Innovation and Entrepreneurship Cluster Youth Hostel. The location was excellent, the environment was clean and tidy, and the common areas had a great atmosphere. It was a great place to meet travel buddies from all over and exchange travel tips. The rooms were great value for money, and it was very convenient for getting around. From the charming old streets of Fuzhou to the stunning blue seascape of Pingtan, this itinerary offers a complete experience, including strolling through ancient streets, savoring fresh seafood, and staying in comfortable hostels. It's a highly recommended combination for any trip to Fujian.

I like Fuzhou Forest Park very much. I went to Fuzhou during the May Day holiday and went to Fusen for three consecutive days. My family likes to take pictures of birds and met many bird lovers. The environment of the forest park is very beautiful, with green everywhere. Even on holidays, the flow of people is not very large. I got a lot of new birds this time and I will go again!

Yantai Mountain boasts stunning scenery, brimming with historical and artistic charm; a stroll here is incredibly pleasant! A must-visit in Pingtan is the Seafood Xiaobailou (Little White House), where the seafood is incredibly fresh. The owner, Sister Xia, is exceptionally friendly, always calling us "baby," and even took us to see the bioluminescent plankton (blue tears) for free—the service was amazing! Staying at the Shuangchuang Julu Hostel was a great experience; the rooms were spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped, offering excellent value for money. The beautiful Beibu Gulf in Pingtan, with its stunning sea and windmills, is so soothing. Pingtan's food and sea views are both top-notch—I love it! #Pingtan #PingtanXiaobailou #Seafood #Food #Windmills #Sea
