They provided complimentary breakfast and afternoon tea, and the butler service, Xiao Ye, was impeccable—she was incredibly attentive, handling our luggage and planning our route the entire time, making for a truly chill holiday.

They are all 10 yuan, the cheapest in the village. Xijiang Qianhu Miao Village is a village that is commercialized while trying to preserve its ethnic characteristics. The convenience of tourists and the living habits of the indigenous people are trying hard to strike a balance. I think it is more down-to-earth than Dali and Lijiang. The prices have not skyrocketed because of the large number of tourists. A bowl of beef noodles is 18 yuan, purified water is 2 yuan, milk tea (from Qin Shi Mingyue) is more than ten yuan, and pork skewers are 10 yuan for 10 skewers. What else do you need a bicycle for? The best thing is that the people in the village are very friendly. Whether I ask for directions or chat, although their Mandarin is not very good, they are willing to talk to me.
