23 reviews
Leipzig Zoo is a well-known local zoo and the oldest zoo in the world. In 2000, a cross-century project turned the Leipzig Zoo into the "Zoo of the Future". One of the highlights of this zoo is the Primate Activity Park, and the tropical rainforest experience hall in the park is not to be missed. The Tropical Rainforest Garden covers an area of 2.7 hectares, which condenses the rainforest landscapes of Asia, Africa and South America. The hall with steel frame and glass roof covers a total of 16,500 square meters. There are 40 kinds of animals and more than 500 kinds of plants living in it. When you first enter the door, you may think that the old venue is ok, but the more you go, the more surprising it is. The pavilions of tropical rain forest pavilion, elephant pavilion, primate, Far Eastern leopard and Siberian tiger are all very famous. You can see Baikal seals in the pavilion. Leisurely basking in the sun, musk deer observe tourists with interest, and 㺢㹢ling happily runs around. Here, you can experience the theme parks of Africa, Asia and South America, as well as the largest ape and monkey exhibition park in the world.Leipzig · 763m from downtown

The church is famous for Bach's carefully cultivated Thomas Choir and Bach's conductor. From 1723 to 1750, Bach was organist and chorus conductor here. His famous "Passion of Matthew" and other famous songs were premiered here. The church was created in the 13th century and evolved into what it is today in 1702. The present Thomas Church was also rebuilt after the war, and Bach's remains are placed here. From 1723 to 1750 Bach served as organ and choir conductor here. Bach's burial is in front of the main altar in the church. The master devoted his life to music, and after his death he was immersed in eternal creation —— the interior of the church was decorated with ancient instruments from the Thomas Choir. The top of the Gothic window depicts Martin · Luther, Bach and the victims of the First World War.Leipzig · 274m from downtown

Entering from the first-floor gate of the monument, you will first see an inner room with a dome. Warriors are divided into two layers, standing with long shields. The semicircular dome is covered with countless reliefs of soldiers on horseback. From the top, you can have a panoramic view of the city of Leipzig.
