Lake Lungern is a natural lake hidden in an Alpine valley, located next to the town of Lungern in the Canton of Obwalden, central Switzerland. On sunny days, the lake water takes on an emerald blue-green hue. The lakeshore is dotted with grassy slopes, traditional wooden houses, and churches with spires. Together, these elements create the quintessential Swiss postcard scene that many people imagine. Hiking around the lake is the main way to explore the area. The trail extends from Lungern station to the lakeshore, and a full loop is about 10 km, taking two to three hours to walk. The route is flat and can be easily managed in regular sneakers. The path is mostly gravel. Wooden viewing platforms and the area in front of the church are great spots to stop for photos, and the S-curve on the lakeside road is an especially popular photo spot. At the eastern end of the lake is the Brünig Pass. The scenic train (part of the GoldenPass Line) traveling between Lucerne and Interlaken runs along the lake, crosses the pass, and stops at the station there. Taking an overhead shot of the entire lake from the viewing platform by the pass while waiting for a train to enter the frame makes for a classic Swiss landscape photo.Lungern · 14.9km from Gadmen

Lake Brienz is located at the northern foot of the Alps, named after the village of Brienz on the northeast side of the lake, while Interlaken lies on its southwest side. Surrounded by steep peaks, a boat tour on Lake Brienz offers breathtaking views of the Alpine scenery. The glacial meltwater carries fine rock flour, giving the entire lake a rare turquoise hue that becomes especially vivid on sunny days. Paired with the steep cliffs and dense forests on both shores, every snapshot looks like a postcard—a highly distinctive hallmark of this lake. Themed cruise with rich experiences Lake Brienz cruise offers various types of experiences. In addition to regular sightseeing cruises, it also provides special themed cruise activities, such as "breakfast cruise", "Indian dinner cruise tour", or "fish and jazz tour" on the cruise ship deck, etc. These are worth experiencing for travelers who love Swiss cuisine. Visit the village of Brienz The village of Brienz on the east shore of the lake is a particularly quiet small town, with fewer visitors during the off-peak season, making it perfect for strolling. You can also take the historic steam train—the Brienz-Rothorn Railway—to reach Rothorn. Giessbach Falls Another destination of the Lake Brienz cruise is the Giessbach Falls, where white waterfalls cascade down from 500 m high into the lake, crashing against rocks with a deafening roar, creating a spectacular sight. Beside the falls stands the Giessbach Hotel, resembling a fairytale castle full of dreamy charm. Cycling and hikes around the lake Lake Brienz is also ideal for cycling around the lake, with well-planned bike routes that allow you to experience the beauty of the lake up close. There are significant elevation changes during the ride, and fog may occur in rainy weather, so it is recommended to choose a suitable route based on your fitness level. Of course, there are also popular hiking trails here, such as walking along the southern shore of Lake Brienz, starting from Bönigen and passing through Iseltwald to reach Giessbach.Iseltwald · 26.7km from Gadmen

Swiss Alps stretch across southern Switzerland, covering approx. 60% of its territory, extending from the shores of Lake Geneva to the Canton of the Grisons in the southeast, and are home to many famous peaks. The Matterhorn, with its nearly symmetrical pyramidal shape, has become a symbol of Switzerland; Dufourspitze in the Monte Rosa massif stands at an elevation of over 4,600 m, even higher than the Matterhorn; the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau in the Bernese Highlands stand side-by-side, and you can take a mountain train directly to the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe at an altitude of over 3,400 m, where you can overlook the Aletsch Glacier, which stretches for over 20 km, from the observation deck. In summer, this is a paradise for hiking, where you can walk among alpine meadows and moraine lakes, often encountering marmots and chamois along the way; in winter, it transforms into a ski resort, with ski areas like Zermatt and Saint Moritz known for their high-altitude slopes and long ski seasons. If you want to enjoy the scenery without the effort, you can take the Glacier Express, which runs round-trip between Zermatt and Saint Moritz, where glaciers, snow-capped peaks, and valleys appear one after another outside the train window.Airolo · 25.8km from Gadmen

Lake Lucerne is located in central Switzerland. The German name Vierwaldstättersee means "four forest lakes" and is the birthplace of the Swiss Confederation. The winding shores of the lake connect Lucerne with the surrounding peaks, framing many beautiful landscapes. The city of Lucerne is located on the edge of Lake Lucerne. Every summer, tourists from all over the world will gather here to enjoy the cool feeling in summer. Beautiful lake scenery and shore scenery The dazzling lake water of Lake Lucerne is crystal-like and dazzling, with a poetic and picturesque scene, looking out from the shore of the pier, the steeple cathedral, uniquely shaped houses, renovated like a mushroom cloud The large, bare trees form a colorful picture. There are often swans and water birds circling and playing on the lake, and the color of the lake reflects the beautiful scenery of the snow-capped mountains and the city in the distance. There are many beautiful buildings on the shore of Lake Lucerne. It was a typical European classical building, only five or six stories high, the walls were painted white, light yellow, blue, pink, and brown, and most of the roofs were bright red. The Capel Covered Bridge and the octagonal water tower walk along the lake, and not far away is a striking wooden bridge of more than 200 meters, which spans the lake diagonally. This is the old covered wooden bridge in Europe, the Capel Covered Bridge. There is an octagonal water tower in the middle of the bridge, which is also one of the most remarkable landmarks in Lucerne. There are colorful geranium flowers on the outside of the covered bridge, which looks like a beautiful ribbon from a distance. It is also called "Flower Bridge Water Tower" by many people, and it is a favorite place for couples to take pictures. The upright water tower and the recumbent wooden bridge imprint each other, forming a unique rhythm on Lake Lucerne. There is no hustle and bustle here, there is no back side by side, it is quiet and peaceful. Lake Lucerne Cruise If you want to fully appreciate Lake Lucerne, it is recommended to take a cruise on Lake Lucerne, so that you can have a panoramic view of the scenery on both sides. The boating lake is immersive, and it feels relaxed and happy. The little white sails are like white swans, and the blue lake is like a sapphire inlaid in the city. It is beautiful under the background of snow-capped mountains and white clouds. Very moving and enchanting. Lake Lucerne has a large fleet of ships from all over Switzerland, including antique steam paddlewheels and modern large cruise ships, with routes running all year round. The classic routes include "Lunch Cruise" and "Pilatus Golden Circle" cruise section. In summer, pedal boats can be rented at the confluence of the Reuss River and Lake Lucerne.Ennetburgen · 33.8km from Gadmen

Hoheweg is the main street of Interlaken and a tree-lined thoroughfare connecting Interlaken Ost and West stations. Interlaken serves as the gateway for sightseeing in the Jungfrau region, where travelers from around the world often stop for a transfer, making it the town's most popular spot, bustling with visitors year-round. Shops, hotels, and restaurants are densely packed along the street, with watch shops and souvenir stores side by side, selling Swiss watches, handmade ceramics, and textiles, featuring patterns that incorporate both rustic elements of the Bernese Highlands and modern design. On one side lies the open lawn known as the Hohematte, originally a monastery garden and now preserved as a public green space; on clear days, you can see the snow-capped peak of the Jungfraujoch - Top of Europe from the street at the end of the lawn, and paragliders frequently drift down from the mountains, landing slowly on the grass, often causing passersby to stop and look up. There are plenty of benches and outdoor seating; sitting down to rest when tired and watching the flow of people against the backdrop of the distant snow-capped mountains is a typical scene for visitors here.Interlaken · 34.9km from Gadmen

Engelberg-Titlis is a breathtaking alpine paradise that stole my heart! The panoramic views from the rotating cable car are absolutely unforgettable. From snow-covered peaks to thrilling glacier activities, every moment felt magical. The Titlis Cliff Walk offered an adrenaline rush with stunning scenery. Maybe I have seen too many pictures online and my expectations are too high. Longjiang disappointed me a little. I think the best part is the part where the train is going to Longjiang, where you can see very beautiful lakes. When I really got off the train, the lakes I saw were all very deep green, not the beautiful blue-green color I saw on the train. I climbed uphill to see the popular S highway and met some uncivilized Chinese people. There are many places on the uphill road where you can't take pictures. There are signs and electric fences blocking it. There was a girl who got into the net and was electrocuted. There were also people who were making loud noises and taking pictures at the door of someone's house, and they were chased away by the dog. It's a pity that we climbed for a long time and didn't take a photo. We were standing quietly by the side waiting. As a result, we waited for a long time and didn't get to see it, and we were also yelled at by the dog. There are very few shops in Longjiang. In order to drink water, we walked to the church to see the shop. It's recommended to bring some water with you.

Jungfraujoch – Top of Europe is one of Switzerland’s most spectacular mountain destinations, offering an unforgettable experience high in the Swiss Alps. Surrounded by magnificent snow-covered peaks, vast glaciers, and breathtaking alpine scenery, the journey to the summit is an adventure itself. The panoramic views from the top are truly mesmerizing, especially on a clear day when the mountains seem to stretch endlessly into the horizon. Walking through the snowy landscape feels like entering a winter wonderland. The impressive Aletsch Glacier adds even more beauty to the experience. Jungfraujoch is a must-visit destination for travelers who love mountains, snow, photography, and extraordinary natural landscapes.

Dolomites' Twin Wonders: The Fairyland of the Blade and Sawtooth Mountains In the Dolomites, nestled at the southern foot of the Alps, lie two breathtaking landscapes imbued with natural beauty: the Secede and Geusker Mountains. Their jagged rock formations and shifting colors of light and shadow bring the image of a "fairyland on earth" to life. The Secede Mountains, aptly named, resemble their shape. Rising over 2,500 meters, their peaks appear as if cleaved by a giant axe. The exposed grayish-white dolostones stretch along the ridge, forming a sharp "blade" outline. From the summit observation deck, the morning mist shrouds the mountain in a soft veil. As the sun rises, the rocks are tinted in warm orange or golden red. Sunlight penetrates the clouds, spilling down into the valley, and the forests and lakes below, such as the tributaries of Lake Garda, shimmer, as if all the colors of the world are focused. The Geusker Mountains are renowned for their densely packed "sawtooth" peaks. These tightly packed peaks resemble giant sawtooth formations crafted by nature, piercing the blue sky. Rich in minerals, the rocks here take on different hues depending on the weather: pristine gray-white on sunny days, pale blue on overcast days, and gilded with pink and purple at sunset. Every step along the mountain trails feels like stepping into a meticulously painted landscape. Both peaks are not only visually stunning but also brimming with vibrant life. In summer, the mountains are covered in purple gentian and yellow broom, while cattle and sheep leisurely roam the meadows. In winter, snow blankets the rocks, transforming the "blade" and "sawtooth" into icy sculptures, a haven for skiers and hikers. No need to search for angles; any casual snap creates a breathtaking, unedited masterpiece. It's no wonder these peaks are known as the "beauty of the Alps."

Herweg Street is to Interlaken what Chang'an Avenue is to Beijing and Nanjing Road is to Shanghai. Herweg Street is 1,400 meters long. The east end is the East Railway Station and the west end is the West Railway Station. Both sides are full of luxurious hotels, elegant restaurants and various shops. The south side of the middle section of the street is the green Holhemat Green. Visiting Herweg is a must for Interlaken. The happiest thing is to look south on the street. Under the blue sky and white clouds, the Jungfrau often shows its heroic appearance in the mist, inviting people who love it to take a photo together. The most worry-free thing is that there are always tourists speaking Chinese dialects from all over the world on the street, and there are always shop assistants speaking standard Mandarin in shops, especially watch shops. Asking for directions and buying a watch, language communication is not a problem. The most annoying thing is that there are many public toilets on the street, all of which are advanced coin-operated access control, 1~2 Swiss francs per time. If you want to find free ones, it’s impossible in shops and too difficult in restaurants. Don’t forget to bring a few Swiss francs with you when you go shopping.
