Urquhart Castle

Urquhart Castle stands on the south side of Inverness and on the cliff on the shore of Lake Ness. It is condescending and surrounded by water on three sides. It was once a military fortress that was easy to defend and difficult to attack, and one of the important ancient relics in the Scottish Highlands. Now it leaves the world with only some ruins. It is said that in 1691, the castle defenders were defeated and blew up by themselves in order to prevent the castle from being occupied by the enemy. Urquhart Castle covers a large area.
