Reviews: Seoul: Mt.Seorak & Naksan Temple Day Trip from Seoul

Great freedom during the visits; especially on the mountain where you have time for a hike if you wish. Mount Seorak was majestic, the Naksan temple magnificent. Steven, our guide, was kind, funny, interesting, and made our day unforgettable! Thank you so much to him for this experience.

Steve was approachable, very nice and always available to answer questions or provide guidance. The coach/bus was bougie - clean, modern, stylish with leather seats, - absolutely loved it and slept well. It took around 2.5 hours to get to the mountain with 1 rest stop. We had 3.5 hours to explore the mountain - we manage to do the cable car and Biseondae rock together. For the cable car, at the end of the walk is the mountain and it is very steep. Must wear non slip footwear. Then we drove 30mins to the temple and had 1.5 hours there. It is very steep in parts to get up to the top so bear that in mind. Finally drove back to Seoul for 2.5 hours with another rest stop.

It was an amazing experience, our guide Eric was very nice. He drove well and gave us all the information we needed. The mountain is really beautiful and the temple too. It's a trip I'd recommend to anyone who want to see the nature of Korea.

Laura was a sweetheart and very knowledgeable about the history of South Korea. It was a pleasure learning from her! The drive to Mount Seorak and back to Seoul was a bit long - so I would recommend bringing something for the ride to keep you occupied.
