We had an incredible time on this tour! Unfortunately the cogwheel train was closed for the afternoon due to weather, but we were issued partial refunds and customer service was incredible. Overall worth the price, and Niels was a wonderful guide. He’s exactly who you want as a guide.

The train ride on the vintage train was magnificent. Enjoyed it. The funicular was less so. Long waits on the way down. Crowded. Mont Blanc shrouded in mist at the summit. Absolutely worth the day trip. Enjoyed it.

From pick-up to drop-off, the Aboriginal cultural experience and the travel arrangements of Tailuge are satisfactory. One day, a 70-year-old man came to drive (suspected to be the driver's private driving), and went shopping all the way, hindering the sentiment.

Great guide! Plenty of time to do everything. Spectacular scenery. Take your time at high altitude. You may feel strange if you live near sea level. Take sugary snacks. It helps!! We did feel the hour-long wait on the glass “step into the void” was too long for the few seconds we would have to take pictures. It was plenty scenic enough already!! We also enjoyed the train ride to the ice cave. Sad that climate change is shrinking the glaciers SO fast.


