The scenery is good, the scenery is good, it will be better to go in June, and it is still cold in April. The only bad thing is that the hotel needs to give the beach ticket money, which is a bit pitted.

We did the full package of the ride to the kayak center, kayak tour, fika, and sauna. The bonus was fika while on the tour (I thought we’d only have it when we were finished) and doing a float in a dry suit. We even did a few polar plunges! Maks, our guide, was great. He was super personable, knowledgeable, and positive. We felt very safe and well taken care of. This was a huge highlight of our Scandinavia trip!

The boat trip was excellent, I couldn’t recommend it enough. Our guide Jana (apologies if I spelled the name wrong!) was very funny, friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. Shoutout to Ludwig the captain too, I felt safe in his capable hands. I learned a lot about the beautiful city of Stockholm. The boat is quiet and as it’s smaller, the tour feels more personal than on a bigger boat. The tour is also excellent value for money. After doing the boat trip yesterday, I was able to identify areas I wanted to explore further on foot today.
