Reviews: Samarkand One Day Tour - Departure From Tashkent
Guest User2025-12-12
My day trip to Samarkand was seamless from start to finish. Everything was extremely well organised - from collecting me at my hotel, getting me onto the train, to meeting me again on my return to Tashkent. I accidentally exited from a different entrance at the Tashkent station, but the driver remained calm, patient, and went out of his way to locate me and ensure I got safely back to my hotel. That level of care made a real difference. In Samarkand, my guide Mokhigul was outstanding: knowledgeable, friendly, curious, and incredibly generous with her insights. We exchanged reflections on cultural influences, and she intuitively gave me space to explore some of the city’s most spiritual and awe-inspiring sites on my own, which I truly appreciated. The local food was delicious, and everywhere we went, people were warm, welcoming, and curious. My guide also kindly helped me negotiate at the local market in Samarkand - a small gesture that made the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this team. They made my first trip to Uzbekistan not only smooth and stress-free, but truly memorable and inspiring.
Reviews: Bukhara One Day Tour - Departure From Tashkent

I booked a private tour. It took four hours by express train from Tashkent. There was no guide on the train, but I got off at the last stop, so I wasn't worried. It was a long train ride, but the unique onboard vendors, who made frequent stops selling various foods, made it enjoyable in itself. My taxi driver was waiting for me at Bukhara Station. I met up with my guide along the way, and after lunch we headed to our destination. We enjoyed the many historical buildings while listening to our guide's detailed and entertaining explanations. The sun was strong, so it might have been a good idea to bring an umbrella. I didn't see many of them in Tashkent, but I saw many locals using umbrellas in Bukhara. All the buildings we visited were within walking distance, but the sheer number and beauty of the sights made me want to stay overnight. My guide was also great at highlighting the key points and pointing out the best angles to view the buildings and scenery. On the way back, I flew back from Bukhara Airport. The flight was about an hour long. After parting ways with our guide, we were taken to the airport by a taxi driver and boarded our taxi. At Tashkent Airport, we met up with our taxi driver and guide and headed back to the hotel. Departure from hotel: 7:30 AM - Arrival at hotel: 10:30 PM Lunch included Dinner not included

If you're looking for a tour guide in Tashkent, look no further than Aziz! We spent a full day with him exploring the city, and it was the absolute highlight of our trip to Uzbekistan. Aziz is also polite, punctual, and his English is excellent, making communication seamless. He felt less like a formal guide and more like a knowledgeable friend showing us around his hometown.
