We did prepare our mind that we may not see any dolphins, but then we saw so many of them at the half-end of the tour. It was such a delightful moment. The island was also so pretty. Our ship was big enough for about 30-40 people, with 2 floors. I would recommend sitting outside on the 1st floor, since it’s much more convenient to see the dolphins and watch the island. And remember to bring a light jacket because the winds from the ocean can be chilly if you sit outside.

I seriously, genuinely recommend this! If you are a Taipei return visitor who has already been to Yehliu, Shifen, and Jiufen, you absolutely must do this! The Yilan tour locations themselves are like popular field trip spots for locals, so it is genuinely worthwhile and much more cost-effective than going on your own. Especially the 200 TWD coupon usable at Kavalan... it is seriously amazing... You can use it for the Kavalan tasting too, so it feels like I went for free... A little tip: when you go to Kavalan, don't join the tour (which is conducted in Chinese anyway); just go straight to the restaurant and down beer and whiskey one after another! Ah, I want to go again.

The process of releasing sky lanterns was very smooth. Although there were many tourists, the staff provided one-on-one service. After writing the message on the lantern, they would kindly take photos and videos for the tourists, and their photography skills were excellent. It's a shop worth visiting.

The tour, which included a city walk and historical explanations, was entirely in English. It was a very enjoyable time, learning about the history and relationship between Taiwan and Japan, and with many questions from other participants. I gave a tip at the end. I would like to participate again.

I also recommend it to all my friends and family. You must come to Ocean Park; it will definitely leave you with wonderful memories. I will come again next year for my birthday.
