I got help from a Chinese guy in his 20s, and luckily I was able to connect just as I left the express train's Wi-Fi area. I think it's important to check if it works at the airport and when the airport Wi-Fi is cut off, but I think it was a good idea. I extended my trip, so I purchased it for a slightly longer period, so this was also good.

I have previously purchased this type of eSIM before, the setup process is straightforward, after the phone connects you need to enable roaming on this eSIM. You will see the IP address is from Hong Kong. There's a bit of latency but everything else works normal.
