My guide was Otilia. Time planning was great, we had sufficient time at all destinations and attractions on the journey. Otilia was a knowledgeable and passionate guide who really shared a lot of stories about Romanian history which I found very interesting myself. However, we were unable to enter Peles Castle unless we paid extra, close to 30 euros, which is too much.

Thank you to Sonia and Mr Driver, we had a great time. Sonia has a nice sense of humor and gave us lots of useful information throughout the trip. I also have to mention that our fellow passengers were very punctual which was very important. We left the University Square at 7 and made our first stop at 9 at a gas station outside Sinaia. We then went to Bran castle at 10 and stayed there for 1,5 hrs (we bought tickets from automatic machines at the entrance). Our next stop was Brasov, where we arrived at 12 and stayed for 1,5 hrs. Our final stop was Peles Castle. Unfortunately there was a lot of traffic on our way there and did not manage to get into the castle as it was closed by 16. However, we had 1 hour to take pictures and walk through the garden. We returned to Bucharest by 19:30. Along the way we enjoyed wonderful views of forests, mountains and lovely little towns. Within 12 hours we got to see so many things, which is why this day trip is worth taking.

Great adventure! Our guide Stefan is amazing, very friendly and attentive. I would definitely take the tour again. I recommend wearing very comfortable shoes.


