Reviews: Seville: Ceramic painting workshop
Guest User2025-06-10
We enjoyed painting! We loved the ceramics of Spain, especially all of the art deco ceramic work of history. Upon first glance of this activity, we thought we would be taught a class of historical significance regarding ceramics in Spain and make our own ceramic tiles based upon what we learned. However, I was mistaken. This was simply “Arts On Fire” as it’s known in the US. You pick your ceramic piece and paint it. No class or history involved. Also, you need at least three days in Sevilla because they need three days to put your creation in the kiln. We had to take our creation unfinished because we were leaving the area the next day. On the bright side, the staff were amazing. They were fun, helpful, kind and people you could easily become best friends with. It was a positive experience overall.

Maria was able to adapt her class to beginners. It was well-structured and engaging; we thoroughly enjoyed it. However, I think it's a shame that shoes and costumes are optional.
