Highly recommended! I specifically chose this day tour to avoid the rushed, low-priced tours. It only visits three or four spots in one day, including the Blue Pond, Shirahige Falls, and the Forest Elf Terrace, making for a relaxed itinerary. The tour is conducted entirely in Chinese, English, and Korean. The tour guide was sincere and enthusiastic, always smiling, and her local food tips were incredibly useful. She even recommended the lavender ice cream – it was absolutely delicious! The Blue Pond and Shirahige Falls are breathtakingly beautiful, and the detailed explanations throughout made for a fantastic experience. A must-do in Biei!★

All the attractions were absolutely beautiful! The itinerary was very well-organized; I don't know how much time it would have taken me to go on my own. Our tour guide, Ms. Liu Sheng, provided detailed and patient explanations throughout the day trip, sharing a wealth of historical, geographical, and cultural knowledge, which was a pleasant surprise and added a lot of enjoyment to the journey. Itinerary was very good. Every location was as described. Would recommend it, but do note there isn't much time to dwell or soak in the the attractions. Downside was that although we selected an English speaking tour, there wasn't any tour guide, and the driver could only speak Mandarin and Japanese, with no descriptions of the destinations in any language.★

It was good. What I think is something not to change is the Shimamuii coast. There’s really nothing to do there. but i guess that’s just to fit the time★
