The tour guide was super nice, and the lunch was delicious, a barbecue buffet. The itinerary was very reasonable. My group was basically a private tour, with only four of us! Of course, the weather was very bad, which was a good thing because it was low season. I couldn't see anything about the Christ the Redeemer statue, and the Theron Steps were also very boring. The church itself was only worth visiting, and the Christ the Redeemer statue was worthwhile.★

An excellent day with a cheerful, heartfelt guide! Santo’s demeanour and wonderful personality made us feel welcome from the start of the tour. He communicated with everyone in our group, speaking English, Spanish, and Brazilian for all commentaries. It felt like a friend was showing us the sights. There were many laughs and we always felt safe with his advice. The fog today at the top of Corcovado and Sugarloaf didn’t allow for the same views as those of a clear day, but it was still spectacular. Thank you Santos! If we could choose to be in your group every tour, we would! What a great day😃★

We had a blast on this tour! It’s right that the build up and traffic before the match can be chaotic, so we felt very reassured having a guide and transportation included. They were super organised and helped us with instructions to sort the pre-match ID check. All of the tour guides were really fun and enthusiastic, and their English was great. They even taught us a football song to sing at the stadium. We had brilliant seats too! It felt nice to be part of a small group and share this experience together. The atmosphere at the stadium was electric. An awesome night that we’ll remember forever.★

Ryane is an all inspiring intelligent vibrant young person who is so passionate and motivated to tell her story. I learnt so much about the history of slave times and the birth of Samba. I thoroughly enjoyed the walking tour and could listen to Ryane for hours. It would be great if the tour could be extended to include lunch at that Plaza with the bars and restaurants and the ballerina statue. I would have loved to try some African food. I wish Ryane all the very best. She has definitely chosen her career well and is an asset to her community.
