We departed from our Cebu hotel at 4 AM, and after a 3-hour drive, arrived in Oslob for a close encounter with whale sharks (the world's largest fish). In the afternoon, we went diving in Moalboal to see sardines. The round trip took over 8 hours, but it was definitely worth it.
Although it was a shared tour, there were only 7 of us. The driver was Filipino, and the guide was Chinese (Xiao Duan). They provided commentary throughout the trip, and the service was excellent. They took great care of everyone, and communication was seamless.★

The swimming with Whaleshark is a gorgeous experience. The Kawasan Falls canyoneering experience was adventurous and fun. The scenery was extremely beautiful.★

If you don't have a foreign bank card, you can buy a boat ticket here. The ticket initially costs 1,000 pesos, but it's more expensive here. A motorboat pulls up to the shore, you have to wade in the water, then you're taken to the boat itself, and workers load your suitcases for 100 pesos. The ride takes 1 hour and 40 minutes, and we departed 30 minutes late. We saw dolphins along the way.★

We were very satisfied with the trip, and the kids loved it too. We saw the whale sharks and sardine run we'd been looking forward to, and we even unexpectedly encountered several sea turtles. Highly recommended!
