James was very friendly and provided excellent support. The tour was very enjoyable. However, there is a lot of walking involved, so those who are not confident in their walking abilities should be careful. The day I participated coincided with a Taiwanese holiday, so it was very crowded. There was a wait for the shuttle bus from Jiufen, but seeing independent travelers struggling to get on the return bus made me really glad I joined the tour. If you are going during a time when there are likely to be a lot of tourists, or if you don't want to worry about getting back, I definitely recommend joining the tour.★

Even though the day was pouring down rain, Michael our guide took care of us, made sure we had the most experience. Tour was organized and car was comfortable . He even have umbrellas ready for us. I am very blessed to have a fun day despite of the unpredictable weather.★

The tour was great value, covering all the sights and with good time management. However, you need to be prepared with your food choices, as you might not be able to sit down and eat in a large group due to time constraints. I recommend bringing your own snacks to eat while walking or bringing your own. The guide, Karen Lu, was excellent and very attentive. She spoke English throughout the trip. Highly recommend this tour for anyone wanting a one-day trip.
