We had Rosie for our guide and she was very warm and kind. Her knowledge about the birds, animals, and especially plants was incredible. We really appreciated hearing about the medicine that can be made in this lush jungle. We even spotted two resplendent quetzals! This was a great time, would highly recommend.

Deyber was a great guide! Highly recommended! We saw a toucan, its nest, hummingbirds, quetzal, peccary, agouti, a leaf stick insect etc. All would have been absolutely impossible to spot on our own. Our guide really had a very good eye for finding these things, setting up the scope to see them and telling us a lot of background information about the animals, birds and forest. Even managed to get some great pictures from his scope!

We spent a lovely morning with Oscar who provided excellent commentary on the flora and fauna in the cloud forest. Oscar was able to point out and describe the birdlife we saw and was very knowledgeable about the history and background of the park.

This butterfly conservatory is a hidden gem. We had a tour with the volunteer who was very enthusiastic about the butterflies . We went to three different houses to represent three different regions in Costa Rica. We had an opportunity to see the frogs and turtles as well. After this wonderful guided tour, we had a walk-through the rainforest Trail, which was just lovely. When you visit this place, you can also visit a nice restaurant and get a beautiful view of the valley. It’s worth the trip and was very quiet.

Roy was phenomenal. Very informative & knowledgeable on the wildlife. Curi Cancha was a perfect place to see the animals that I wanted to see. 10/10 would recommend this tour. Great value for money too.

Johnny the guide was excellent! He showed us snakes, a frog, birds, lizards, a walking stick and several other critters there is no way we would have seen had we gone out on our own. A really great experience!


