Our visit to Acetaia dei Bago was one of the highlights of our time in the Modena area. The tour was fascinating and gave us a much deeper appreciation for how traditional balsamic vinegar is produced. The guide Marianna explained the process in a very engaging way, and it was amazing to see the attic filled with wooden barrels where the vinegar ages for many years. You can really feel the passion and family tradition behind it. The tasting at the end was fantastic. Sampling balsamic vinegars of different ages was a completely new experience, and the flavors were incredibly rich and complex.

It was fantastic, our guide knew her stuff and was very informative - she also was able to tailor towards what we liked and gave us some great tips for afterwards. The food was amazing - the Balsamic and wine being particular highlights. I would recommend if anyone is in Modena. Top stuff!
