Great value tour. Just the right length. Brilliant tour guide. Covers interesting tit bits about the show but also lots of village history.

Visiting in winter not the best time to visit outdoor gardens, but our main aim was to see the Christmas light show, which lived up to expectations. The main dome had a problem with sound, so no music to accompany light show did detract from overall enjoyment. Took several hours to fix, so we only got to experience last 10mins. Staff were great and facilities adequate.

Kieran was an excellent guide. His enthusiasm for the geology and wildlife was infectious. He tailored the excursion to the ability of the group (small group, fit paddlers). Our paddle was during a record breaking high tide, so some of the caves were to dangerous to enter, but Kieran brought us back latter in the trip to try again, and he found plenty of things to keep us well entertained. At our beach break, he showed us how to find ancient Devonian fossils of tube worms and coral, then started a fire and we roasted marshmallows! We saw a large variety of bird life, including Peregrine falcons, and cormorants. No marine mammals, possibly, as the tide was so high. He had all the special equipment you might need: dry bags, waterproof phone cases, kayak ‘skirts’ and foul weather gear (which we didn’t need). He has thought of everything and knows the area very well, being a lifelong resident. I highly recommend this trip, and I look forward to a return visit. Thanks again Kieran!
Reviews: Penzance: Land's End Boat Tour with Wildlife Guides

Super fun on the boat , the captains were full of humour and friendly to any members on board. We saw couple large tunas (up to 3 meters long )jumping out the water surface and back. Also we saw the seagulls chilling in the rocks and giving us a friendly vibe when we were either taking pictures or recording them. Unfortunately, we were not able to see dolphins , even though the captain tried his best by taking us to the spot where they frequently appear. Overall, it was an unforgettable experience with a chance to learn more about the coast life of Cornwall! Thanks!
Reviews: Rounding Cornwall Boat Trip Experience. (Departing Hayle)
Guest User2025-08-22
Wonderful experience. Captain Jack and guide Zac were brilliant, chilled and laid back but also knowledgeable about the local wildlife, ecology, geology and mining history. Sea was a little rough setting out from Hayle but was nice and calm after rounding lands end. We were geared up with a waterproof/windproof jacket and life vest. Saw playful seals, leaping tuna, bristle dolphins and various seabirds in a packed 2.5 hours. Local geology is breathtaking. The trip also offered different view of Longships lighthouse and Minack theatre from the sea. Felt in safe hands throughout despite being out at sea.
