This tour route traveled from north to south, from the city center to the ancient capital. Over several days, it felt like a wonderful journey through time. Looking back on the previous day's sights felt like a lifetime ago. We were lucky enough to see Mount Fuji, but unfortunately, due to Japan experiencing its worst snowfall in 45 years, we missed the cherry blossoms – something we can save for next time. This is definitely a country worth visiting again. The tour guide, leader, driver, and local service were all excellent.

We weren't very familiar with the area, but the hotel staff were very helpful and gave us directions quickly. The hotel was quite nice, quiet and clean, with a large lake in front; I imagine it will be beautiful in spring. Perhaps because we went on the last two days of the long holiday, the hotel was very quiet, and there were few people everywhere. Traveling off-peak is definitely a good thing. The hot springs are separated for men and women, and they're not very big. The water was very warm on our side, but I heard the men's side wasn't very warm. If you're mainly looking for hot springs, you might be a little disappointed. The next day we went to the Aviation Museum. The entrance was free, but you still needed a ticket to enter the exhibition hall, and there were no discounts. It seems there wasn't a good communication between the hotel and the aviation museum; I've already mentioned this to the hotel reception. Also worth mentioning is that the hotel's free breakfast was quite good.
