The outbound ferry was cancelled due to heavy fog, but thankfully I managed to get a seat on the return trip. I was extremely worried about missing my flight and not being able to get back. I was so anxious about what would happen if I couldn't board the ferry and couldn't fly back to Taiwan... It was terrifying. Luckily, I messaged customer service while I was in Xiamen, so there was basically no waiting. Also, I don't know if I was particularly lucky, but the nine-seater van was only occupied by me. I was worried that I wouldn't fit at 175cm tall, but thankfully they let me on!

He knew the route well, drove smoothly, and there were no sudden stops or accelerations. Punctual and efficient, no worries about being late or waiting. Communication was smooth, the driver was friendly, and they even thoughtfully provided bottled water. The price was transparent, and the value for money was excellent. Our drover (Abby) was amazing - VERY professional, knowledgeable, safe, comforting, and keenly aware of our time, needs, and interests. He made sure we saw all the things we wanted to see, explained each and every point of interest, had a strong sense of understanding of the local history, and promptly got us to and from our arrival back to our departure point. He was very knowledgeable of the "best" photo op locations, and was an absolute pleasure to tour with.


