I was in a hurry to get to Umeda, so I chose the Haruka train, which is direct. I used an e-ticket, which I registered on the JR West website and entered by pasting my ticket number. After immigration, I simply selected a reserved seat according to my time, which was very convenient. To board the train, I went up to the second floor after immigration to the tram platform. I entered through the JR gate and queued for the ground-level Haruka carriage.★

It was totally worth it! The trip from Narita to the city center alone made the ticket price worthwhile—it's fast and saves time. However, if I had a choice, I would still choose Haneda next time! Narita is just too far away!★

I highly recommend everyone try this JR Pass, as it is extremely convenient and worth it, especially for solo travellers. It can help you save a lot on transportation costs. However, make sure to check your itinerary carefully, as this JR Pass does not cover every attraction or area, and some places may require local trains instead.Trip.com picks
