it was a good day out,, Fred the guide was very informative and friendly. lunch was very good. at the last stop we had to wait for another passenger from another tour, whch was quit long due to a lost wheel on their trailer, overall a great day. aircon in bus was extremely noisy, needs attention.

The places we went to were great and the tour guide Mya was excellent. As we were travelling in winter, it was too cold to swim, so we had long stretches at the two swimming spots. The tour could be adapted or shortened during the cooler weather. I've seen Aboriginal cultural activities at Standley Chasm as an example.

Excellent information from the ever-knowledgeable Guido; at every stop there was a bit of exercise; lovely refreshments with cookies, cake, and wraps for lunch; breathtaking landscapes, gorges, and gaps. It was worth it!!!

I loved Simpsons' Gap and Stanley's Chasm. They were magnificent. The Telegraph station was good. My issue was that there was a lot of information about the settler history about the area but the Indigenous people of the area weren't even a foot note. Given that the tour is of 2 natural areas - one that has an Indigenous name that we were never told - and 1 historical area - it would be great to hear about what the land means to persons who were there long before the telegraph station made that area interesting to colonial settlers. My guide was very friendly and pleasant, however I found that he was blasé when talking about 'the Stolen Generation' which was one of the few references he made to the Aboriginal people. I was very disappointed that the tour wasn't more well rounded.

Mahesh was a wonderful guide. Even though others had cancelled due to the publicity about the youth troubles in Alice Springs, he did not cancel the tour. Mahesh took us to all the key sites and was full of knowledge about the locations and history. He is from Sri Lanka and you can see him in the pics. He was always ready to stop if we wished to take a photo, if it was safe, or permitted. One surprise, was a morning snack with hot tea and nibbles.
