Reviews: Amsterdam: The Newest Canal Cruise with Drink Option
Guest User2026-04-01
We had an absolutely fantastic time exploring the heart of Amsterdam with Eco Boats, and a large part of that was thanks to our guide, Timon! Cruising through the historic canals was already a highlight of our trip, but Timon’s storytelling and energy made it even better. He shared fascinating insights about the city’s iconic bridges and architecture, all while keeping the atmosphere light and fun with his great sense of humor. He was also incredibly attentive, ensuring everyone had a great view and even helping us capture some perfect photos along the way. If you’re looking for a memorable way to see Amsterdam from the water, I highly recommend booking a cruise with Timon!

If you're staying for a stopover, you probably don't need to buy it... haha I felt like it was a waste to just walk around the Van Gogh Museum this time. Next time, I should buy this and this and walk around a bit.

It was a perfect trip. Our guide, Deng, was incredibly professional, providing explanations of everything from the sights to the local customs and culture of the Netherlands, making the trip truly worthwhile. My personal suggestion is that you definitely need a talkative person in the front passenger seat; the more you talk, the better Deng will perform.

I recently took a tour with Babylon Tours in Amsterdam, and what an enlightening experience it was! Our guide, Ewald Bogers, was incredibly personable and engaging, making history feel alive. His passion for the city shone through every interactive moment we shared. Ewald effortlessly blended fascinating stories with organized routes, allowing us to explore both famous sights and hidden gems. It was inspiring to see Amsterdam through his experienced eyes. If you're looking for a meaningful way to connect with this vibrant city, I highly recommend Babylon Tours!
