It covers Tokyo Metro + Toei Subway lines and gave us unlimited rides for three full days, which made hopping between neighborhoods (Shinjuku, Shibuya, Ginza, Asakusa) effortless. Activation is simple — the timer starts the first time you pass through a gate — so activate it when you begin a full day of sightseeing to get the most value. We paired the pass with a Suica card for JR lines and airport transfers, which worked well.★

Ticketing was quick. From Narita Terminal 2, there's a dedicated ticket exchange counter at the railway entrance. The staff were very patient and clearly explained the validity period and coverage area. Three days is enough for several long-distance trips. To go to Mt. Fuji and Kawaguchiko, you can use the self-service machines outside Shinjuku Station to transfer to the Fuji Kaiyu Railway directly to Kawaguchiko Station. You can also go to Izu, but only with regular JR trains. Overall, it's good and quite convenient.★

How to get a Skyliner - It varies by station, but there are places where you can get it yourself or go to a specific ticket booth to get it! (Fast and convenient!)/ For the subway, you can just go to a nearby ticket machine and get it. It was really convenient. I carried it around in a small card wallet and it didn't break, which was nice. The 72 hours start counting down once you start using it, so I used it effectively for 3 nights and 4 days, and I think I used it almost 15 times a day. It doesn't work on JR, so you have to buy it separately when going to Disney!★
