We loved being greeted right at the cruise terminal in front of the ship, and the communication with Tore, our guide, made us feel instantly welcome and comfortable. The transfer was in a van, during which we enjoyed 45 minutes of scenic views. The hike to Preikestolen was quite strenuous, but Tore kept us informed throughout the entire excursion. We were even treated to a traditional hiking chocolate at the start. We were completely satisfied and highly recommend this excursion with a local guide over the more expensive AIDA excursion. The group was a manageable size, allowing ample time for the hike up and down. Even at the top of the rock, Tore was very attentive to our schedule. He kept the "everyone back on board" time in mind to ensure we returned on time. We would definitely book this excursion again.

A fantastic activity for any visitor to Stavanger. Highly recommended. Easily doable with children too. The boat departs from a very central location. Friendly staff, beautiful scenery, and announcements in both English and German – what more could you ask for? We saw a lot and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. The duration was perfect as well. We would definitely book this excursion again.

Everything was perfect. Our guide, Alan, is a fantastic person as well as a professional. We had a lot of fun, and the nighttime return was beautiful. I recommend this winter experience, which is quieter and less crowded.
