Nice day trip to Tallin. Hop on buses are waiting outside terminal. Interesting history but a bit underwhelming. Helsinki is more fun.

A great trip. The ferry was fantastic, with alternative options for spending your travel time, plenty of dining options at Estonian prices, shops, and hassle-free check-in using an intuitive automated machine. In Helsinki, there's a tram stop right outside the terminal to the city center, a journey of about 15 minutes. Public transport tickets must be purchased via the app or at the automated machine before exiting the terminal. I recommend it.
