Everything works perfectly. Connection is straightforward. Activate in advance while you have internet access on another network. If you do this after you arrive, the SIM card will be inactive, and you'll need to find a Wi-Fi connection to activate it.★

The friend I traveled with happened to be using the same eSIM. There were no particular issues and the connection was smooth. I chose 2GB per day, but my friend chose 1GB per day, which was just barely enough, so I recommend 2GB or more for people who use Google Maps a lot.★

I used this in KL, Bangkok and Shanghai. Overall the signal was ok. Sometimes we do get a drop out but it’s not often. We managed to use all social media platforms with this eSIM at Shanghai. Only thing is if you want to hail a ride you’ll need a number for it in china.★
